A Day of Discovery & Cultural Learning! 🏙️✨🚌

Students from the Intensive English Programme (IEN) May 2026 semester and Academic English Programme (AEP) April 2026 semester recently embarked on an educational excursion to Royal Selangor Pewter Centre and the Malaysia Tourism Centre (MaTiC).

From discovering the art of pewter craftsmanship to exploring Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage and tourism industry, the excursion provided students with an engaging and meaningful learning experience beyond the classroom.

🇫🇷🌏 When AI meets French storytelling and global creativity! 📖🪄

On June 27, 2026, the AI French Storybook Creation Workshop came to life, a brilliant collaboration between IPG Kampus Antarabangsa and Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus (School of General Studies and Languages).

This wasn’t just about tech and writing; it was a beautiful intercultural encounter. We brought together passionate French language learners from all over the world, including Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Mauritius, Seychelles, South Korea and Pakistan! Combining their diverse multicultural and multilingual backgrounds, they worked together to design and craft their very own personalized French storybooks.

A huge shoutout to our 4 fantastic student emcees who hosted the event, effortlessly switching between French and English!

Heartfelt thanks to Mr. Daniel Liew Chin Jee from IPG Kampus Bahasa Antarabangsa and Dr. Chin Sin Zi from Taylor's for their incredible guidance, support, and inspiration throughout the workshop.

The first drafts are officially complete, and the final touch-up process is currently underway!

📚 Explore, Learn, Grow: Library Briefing & Tour 📚
On 21 May 2026, our IEN students took part in a Library Briefing and Tour conducted by Mohd Harith Abdul Halim and the TU Library team.

The session introduced students to key library resources, digital services, and learning spaces available on campus, helping them better support their academic journey. Students also explored the library through a guided tour to understand how its facilities can enhance their learning experience.

A big thank you to the TU Library team for their time, expertise, and commitment to supporting student success. We hope this experience inspires our students to make the library a key part of their learning journey and lifelong pursuit of knowledge.
