Discovering Clouds Above Us ☁️

☁️ In our IEYC lesson, the children became little sky explorers as they observed and discussed different types of clouds! They learned simple cloud names and shared their ideas, descriptions, and predictions based on what they saw in the sky 🌤️. The learning became even more exciting as the children created their own cloud gazing craft before heading outdoors to observe real clouds above them. This meaningful experience encouraged curiosity, imagination, and a deeper appreciation for the beauty of nature all around us. 🌈✨

Let’s Blow the Raindrops! 🌧️

🌧️💧☔️ In our IEYC lesson, the children explored the wonderful world of rainy weather! Our little explorers learned about rain, how it falls from clouds, and why rain is important for plants, animals, and people. The fun continued with a creative raindrop blowing activity, where the children used straws to blow paint across paper and create beautiful falling raindrop patterns. 🎨✨ This hands-on experience encouraged creativity, strengthened oral motor skills, and helped the children connect science with art through playful learning.

Sensory Learning: Caterpillar Journey

Our learning journey came alive with the delightful story The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle! The children listened with excitement as they explored different types of fruits from the story and joyfully shared their own favourite fruits during class discussion.

The fun continued with a Hungry Caterpillar-themed sensory bin filled with puffed rice, where the children explored textures, imagined story scenes, and engaged in meaningful play with friends. This hands-on experience supported their language development, sensory exploration, and creativity, making learning both enjoyable and memorable! 🌈💛

🐦 Our little learners became curious bird watchers through a creative bird watcher craft activity! They explored the world of nature by making their own simple tools, such as binoculars, to observe birds around them. This hands-on experience helped the children learn more about animals, nature, and the importance of patience while waiting to spot birds. 🌿 Our IEYC learning adventure took us outdoors for a fun and meaningful Pebbles Hunt & Sculpture activity! The children excitedly searched for pebbles of different shapes and sizes, collecting their special treasures from nature. Back in the learning area, they carefully stacked and balanced the pebbles to create their very own sculptures. This hands-on experience helped develop fine motor skills, hand–eye coordination, and creativity. It also encouraged problem-solving as the children experimented with balance, while practising teamwork, sharing, and cooperation with their friends. 🌟💛

Tiny Bubbles: Trying, Learning, Growing Strong 💛
💪 Our little gym stars had a wonderful time exploring handstand practice during Gym class! Even our 18-month-old children showed great effort as they tried their best with support and encouragement. Through this activity, they began building important arm and shoulder strength while also improving their balance and body control. It was inspiring to see their determination, confidence, and joyful smiles as they explored new movements in a safe and playful environment! 🌟🤸‍♂️
