My Daily Life Semester โ€“ Mission 8: Design a Pizza as Dinner ๐Ÿ•

Our students turned their ideas into clay pizzas and had fun โ€œbakingโ€ them in our craft oven ๐Ÿ”ฅ

From designing to crafting, they explored imagination, hands-on skills, and lots of fun!

Students from different backgrounds came together to design their own lion dance pouchesโ€”something they can proudly bring along during Chinese New Year to collect angpaos ๐Ÿงง

When they complete something so practical with their own hands, it gives them a deep sense of confidence and joy:
โ€œI may not have the money to buy it, but I can create it myself.โ€ ๐Ÿ’›

Mission 6 (My Daily Life Series) - Platypus Needs a Dustbin

Well done to our little crafters who designed their own dustbins with creativity and imagination๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅณ

Through this activity, children were able to:

โ€ข Express their creativity and ideas through drawing, painting, assembling & crafting
โ€ข Develop their fine motor skill & hand eye coodination during the crafting process.
โ€ข Create and share the unique function of their own dustbin.
โ€ข Express about what they would like to throw into their dustbin (e.g., sad memories or unwanted toys)
โ€ข Building their confidence
by turn their art into useful creation.
โ€ข After completing their crafts, the children also played a fun game by using their handmade dustbins.

They truly enjoyed the creative process and had lots of fun during the class!

Christmas is a season of love, giving, and togetherness. ๐ŸŽ„โœจ
During our Christmas party, the children created their own unique Christmas house pen holders -a special little house that can hold pens, treasures, or even their favourite snacks.

Each artwork was different, because every creation came from the childโ€™s own ideas and imagination. Every child carries a dream home in their heart, and today, they brought that dream to life with their own hands. ๐Ÿ โœจ

We are truly grateful for the opportunity to share love, creativity, and joy with the children this Christmas season.
