“Will you be available to adjudicate at #你這個大聰明?” I was a bit hesitant at first — there were going to be content creators galore! But I decided to give it a whirl anyway, and I’m so glad I did. They’re the kind of people who can solve problems and make you laugh so hard you forget you even had any. Brains and banter — they’ve got both in spades.

Always remember to fact-check, as language is shaped by common usage.（语言是约定俗成的）Native speakers do use both of them, but they aren’t entirely interchangeable.

“Happy belated birthday!” is how most native speakers phrase it. People accept it as idiomatic and natural in casual conversation.

“Belated happy birthday” would more typically be said as “(wishing you) a belated happy birthday”.

“实际上，我遇到的10个人中，有9个人并不知道正确的祝福用语。很多人在为朋友送上迟来的生日祝福时，会说‘Happy Belated Birthday’。”

After you have been introduced to someone:

1) I’ve been wanting to meet you for some time.
我已经想见你很久了。

2) John has told me all about you.
约翰已经跟我讲了很多关于你的事。

3) John has told me so much about you.
约翰已经跟我讲了很多关于你的事情。

4) I’ve heard so much about you.
我听说了很多关于你的事情。

5) I’ve heard so much about you I feel I know you already.
我听说了很多关于你的事情，感觉我已经认识你了。

6) So, we finally meet face to face.
所以我们终于面对面见面了。

7) It’s nice to meet in person.
很高兴亲自见面。

8) I’m sorry, what was your name again?
对不起，你叫什么名字来着？

9) I didn’t catch your name. I’m terrible at names.
我没听清你的名字。我对记名字很差。

10) It is so wonderful for you to finally meet me.
你终于见到我，真是太棒了。
