WBGF 2026｜Finally, I Can Take a Moment to Say Thank You 💛✨
Some time has passed since the festival ended, and only now have I finally been able to sit down, reflect on and look back at WBGF 2026. 🙏🏻
From two days of Master Workshops to two days of competitions held simultaneously across two theatres, WBGF 2026 welcomed 572 competition entries and dancers from 11 countries and regions: Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Australia, Ukraine and Portugal. 🌏💃🏻
None of this could have been accomplished by one person alone.
First and foremost, my heartfelt gratitude goes to all the international Masters, judges and guest performers who travelled from afar. ❤️ Thank you for your trust and support, for generously sharing your valuable knowledge and wonderful performances, and for bringing your international experience and professionalism to WBGF. ✨
To all our overseas dancers, thank you for travelling such great distances to join us in Malaysia. ✈️🇲🇾 Your presence made WBGF a truly international stage where different cultures, dance styles and artistic expressions came together. 🌍
I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to the teachers and dance academies throughout Malaysia. 💐 Thank you for guiding your students to participate and for supporting and believing in the vision of WBGF. With your support, we are able to create more opportunities for local dancers to learn, connect and grow. 🤝
To every participant, thank you. 💃🏻 Thank you for the time, dedication and hard work you gave to stand on the WBGF stage. Whatever the final result may have been, I hope you will treasure this experience and recognise your own growth and potential through every preparation and performance. 🌟
My heartfelt thanks also go to all the parents and families who supported and accompanied the dancers throughout this journey, as well as every member of our organising team, stage crew, photography and videography team, partners and sponsors. 🙏🏻 Much of your hard work may have taken place behind the scenes, but it was your dedication in every role that made this festival possible. 💛
If there were any shortcomings in our hospitality or arrangements, thank you for your understanding and patience. We value every piece of feedback and will continue to learn and improve. 🌿
WBGF has never been merely a competition. My hope is to provide a professional, fair and respectful platform for dancers of different ages, levels and dance styles. I also hope to give local dancers who may not yet have the opportunity to travel abroad the experience of participating in an international-standard competition here in Malaysia, while connecting with talented dancers from around the world. 🌏✨
WBGF was created from my lifelong love for Oriental Dance. While I still have the ability to do so, I hope to continue doing something meaningful for this beautiful art form and to contribute in my own way to the development of Oriental Dance. ❤️
WBGF 2026 has come to a successful conclusion, but every encounter, every touching moment and every moment of brilliance we shared will remain a precious memory. ✨
Thank you to everyone who participated in, supported and believed in WBGF. This year’s WBGF was made possible because of every one of you. 🙏🏻💛

WBGF 2026｜终于，可以好好地说一声谢谢 💛✨
活动结束了一段时间，直到今天，我才终于能够静下心来，回望并总结这一届的 WBGF。🙏
从两天的大师课程，到两天同时在两座剧院进行的赛事；572个参赛项目，来自马来西亚、新加坡、越南、中国、香港、台湾、韩国、日本、澳洲、乌克兰及葡萄牙，共11个国家与地区的舞者齐聚于此。🌏💃🏻
这一切能够顺利完成，绝不是一个人的力量。
首先，衷心感谢所有远道而来的国际大师、评审及演出嘉宾。❤️ 谢谢你们对 WBGF 的信任与支持，愿意与我们分享宝贵的专业知识与精彩演出，也以丰富的国际经验，为赛事带来更高的专业水平。✨
谢谢所有海外舞者，不远千里来到马来西亚参与这场盛会。✈️🇲🇾 你们的到来，让 WBGF 成为一个真正汇聚不同文化、风格与舞蹈语言的国际舞台。🌍
我也想特别感谢马来西亚各地的老师与舞蹈学院。💐 谢谢你们用心带领学生参赛，感谢你们对 WBGF 理念的支持与肯定。正因为有大家的同行，我们才能共同为本地舞者创造更多学习、交流与成长的机会。🤝
谢谢每一位参赛者。💃🏻 感谢你们为了站上 WBGF 的舞台所付出的时间、汗水与努力。无论最后获得什么成绩，愿你们都能珍惜这段经历，也从每一次准备与表演中，看见自己的进步与可能。🌟

WBGF 从来不只是一场比赛。我希望能够为不同年龄、不同阶段与不同舞蹈风格的舞者，提供一个专业、公平并受到尊重的舞台；也希望让更多尚未有机会出国的本地舞者，能够在马来西亚亲身感受国际规格的赛事，与来自世界各地的优秀舞者交流。🌏✨
举办 WBGF，是源于我对东方舞长久以来的热爱。趁自己仍然拥有能力的时候，我希望继续为这门艺术做一些有意义的事，为东方舞的发展尽自己的一份力量。❤️
WBGF 2026 已经圆满结束，但我们在这里留下的每一次相遇、每一份感动和每一个闪耀的时刻，都会成为珍贵的回忆。✨
