S.A.I International College had the honour of participating in an educational visit to the Parliament of Malaysia on 5 March 2026, accompanied by lecturers and Members of the Student Representative Council (MPP) representing the college, together with Student delegates from India representing various universities under the Naan Muthalvan Initiative, Government of India.

The Indian Student Delegates were in Malaysia as part of a 10-day International Internship Programme hosted by S.A.I International College, aimed at strengthening international collaboration and exposure in TVET education.

The parliamentary visit provided participants with valuable insight into Malaysia’s legislative process, governance system, and the role of Parliament in national development. It also served as a meaningful platform to promote cross-cultural engagement, leadership development, and Malaysia–India cooperation in skills and vocational education.

S.A.I International College remains committed to providing holistic learning experiences beyond the classroom, including international exposure, industry engagement, and educational visits that enhance students’ global perspectives.

We, at S.A.I International College, extend our heartfelt congratulations to our esteemed Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Adjunct Professor S. Kugayndran Kalingaraja, on being conferred the Pingat Kelakuan Terpuji (P.K.T) — the Distinguished Conduct Medal — by Tuan Yang Terutama Tun Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Ramli bin Ngah Talib, the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Pulau Pinang, in conjunction with His Excellency’s 84th Birthday Investiture Ceremony.

This prestigious honour, conferred under the Order of Chivalry, Orders, and Medals of Honour of the State of Penang, is a fitting recognition of Adj. Prof. Kugayndran’s unwavering dedication to the betterment of society, particularly through his visionary contributions to Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Malaysia.

His journey from humble beginnings to becoming a respected leader in the education sector is a source of inspiration to all of us.
