Kudos to the 2 boys who train JKD with me every Tuesday evening at Hybrid Combative Academy & Gym on their wonderful achievement at the Taekwon-do National Championships last weekend representing Selangor in their U15 category!

Despite injuries suffered in the preliminary rounds, they rose above their obstacles to win medals in Individual & Team events in Sparring and Pattern.

Had the pleasure of attending Aikido Shihan Paul Cales's workshop last Sunday. It was also a very pleasant surprise to meet up with a few of my ex-students from when I had JKD classes at Nottingham University (Malaysian Campus) some years back. Very good to know they are all working adults now.

It was great catching up with them, albeit only for a short while.
