🔥 Project Disaster Relief | Fire Safety Education · Protecting Lives 防火教育 · 守护生命

Today, we took Disaster Relief one important step further — from responding after a disaster to educating and preventing before it happens.

Lions Club of Selangor Empire, together with Steel Recon Industries (SRI) and the school, conducted a Fire Safety Awareness & Demonstration Programme for approximately 880 students and 20–30 teachers, with the support and participation of our generous sponsors.

Through professional sharing, live fire demonstrations and hands-on experience, students learned essential fire prevention knowledge, how to use a fire extinguisher correctly, and most importantly, how to protect themselves and others during an emergency.

Special appreciation to OC Alan Tay for coordinating this meaningful project, and our sincere thanks to DG Nicholas Seow, 1st VDG Simon Tan, 2nd VDG Lee Chee Meng, GMT Vanessa Tan, GST John McRay, DC Disaster Relief Kumar, RC Shirley Eng, ZC Priscilla Yap and DC Stella Lim for their presence and support.

We also thank President Dr Jacqueline Lee, PP Cecilia Cheah, BOD Lily Lim, Irene Wong, Sam Low, together with LC Selangor Unique President Thomas and 4 members, as well as Selangor Kingdom DC BebeKelly and member, for joining us in service.

During the programme, President Dr Jacqueline Lee, on behalf of Lions Club of Selangor Empire, presented 20 gifts to the children 🎁 — adding a little joy and warmth while sharing an important message about safety.

Disaster relief helps people stand again after a crisis;
disaster preparedness may prevent that crisis from happening in the first place.

The safety knowledge we share with a child today may one day protect a life and save a family. ❤️

We Serve — not only when disaster happens, but also before it happens.

今天，我们把 Disaster Relief 从“灾后援助”，带到更重要的一步——灾前教育与预防。

Lions Club of Selangor Empire 携手 Steel Recon Industries (SRI) 及校方，为约 880名学生及20–30名老师 带来防火宣导与实地示范活动，同时获得多位赞助商共同参与支持。

通过专业讲解、灭火示范及实际操作，让学生学习防火知识、正确使用灭火器，以及在紧急情况下如何保护自己与身边的人。

活动当天，President Dr Jacqueline Lee 代表 Lions Club of Selangor Empire 赠送20份礼物给小朋友们 🎁，除了传递防火安全知识，也把狮子会的一份关怀与温暖送到孩子们手中。

灾后的援助，帮助我们重新站起来；
灾前的教育，却可能让一场灾难不再发生。

今天教会孩子的一份安全知识，明天或许就能守护一个生命、一个家庭。❤️

🌱 ROOTED IN SERVICE | PLANTING TODAY, GROWING TOMORROW 🌱 扎根服务｜今天种下，明天成长

Today, Lions from across District 308 B2 Malaysia came together for a meaningful District Initiative — Project Environment: Tree Planting, turning our spirit of service into something that will continue to grow for years to come.

With 40 Lions from District 308 B2 joining hands, every tree planted today represents more than an environmental effort. It represents hope, responsibility, and our commitment to building a greener and better tomorrow. 🌳💚

We are proud that Lions Club of Selangor Empire served as the Organizing Club, led by OC Dr Jacqueline Lee, bringing Lions together to make this environmental project both meaningful and memorable.

Our sincere appreciation to Monkeys Canopy Resort for generously sponsoring the venue and plants, and for partnering with Lions in creating a sustainable impact beyond a one-day event.

This collaboration became even more meaningful following the MOU signed on 8 August 2026, marking the beginning of a CSR partnership with more meaningful initiatives to come.

A special thank you to District Governor Nicholas Seow for his trust in Selangor Empire and our organizing committee, and to every Lion who participated and contributed to the success of today’s project.

We planted trees today, but what we are truly growing is hope for tomorrow. 🌱

今天，来自 District 308 B2 Malaysia 的狮友们齐聚一堂，共同参与区级重点项目——环保服务计划：植树行动（Project Environment – Tree Planting）。

当天共有 40位 District 308 B2 狮友携手参与。我们种下的不只是一棵棵树，更是一份对环境的责任、一份对未来的承诺，以及一份继续成长的希望。🌳💚

我们非常荣幸，Lions Club of Selangor Empire 担任本次活动的主办分会（Organizing Club），并由 OC Dr Jacqueline Lee 带领筹委团队完成此次活动，与各分会狮友一起，让这项环保服务留下更深远、更有意义的足迹。

特别感谢 Monkeys Canopy Resort 慷慨赞助本次活动的场地及树苗，以企业力量与 Lions 携手推动可持续发展的公益行动。

🦁 8.8.2026 | An Honour Made Meaningful by the Heart of Giving
一份荣誉，更是一份发自内心的善意

8 August was a memorable evening for District 308 B2.

We proudly witnessed DG Nicholas Seow (Nic) officially installed as District Governor for 2026–2027, together with the installation of the new Cabinet Officers.

For the Lions Club of Selangor Empire, the evening carried an additional sense of pride and meaning. ❤️

On this special night:

🏅 7 members contributed towards becoming Melvin Jones Fellowship (MJF)
🏅 5 members contributed towards becoming District Fellows (DF)

12 contributions, 12 generous hearts willing to give.

What makes these recognitions truly meaningful is not only the moment of receiving them on stage, but the heart behind every contribution. Each donation was made voluntarily by our members, as their personal commitment to supporting Lions’ humanitarian and charitable causes.

We are incredibly proud of every Empire member who chose to give.

Because the true value of recognition is not simply in a name or an award, but in the willingness to give and to make a difference in the lives of others. ❤️

On 6 August 2026, Lions Club of Selangor Empire brought together golfers, sponsors, Lions and friends for a meaningful Golf Tournament & Charity Dinner, raising funds in support of the National Kidney Foundation (NKF).

2026年8月6日，雪州帝国狮子会举办了一场充满意义的 慈善高尔夫球赛暨晚宴，为 National Kidney Foundation（NKF）国家肾脏基金会 筹募善款。

特别感谢本次活动 OC Lion Jestine Ong 及 Co-OC Lion Jasline Lee，肩负起这项特别任务，用心联系球手、凝聚赞助商与社会各界，让大家与 Lions 携手同行，一起为 NKF 尽一份力量。❤️

衷心感谢以上赞助商与善心人士的大力支持

同时，也感谢所有 贵宾、球手、筹委会成员、狮友及朋友们 的参与和支持。

当天共有 22组、88位球手 挥杆行善；晚上约 140位嘉宾 欢聚一堂。大家来自不同领域，却因为同一个公益目标而相聚。

每一次挥杆，都带着使命；
每一份支持，都为生命带来希望。❤️
