Hari ini saya telah membawa Ayah, warga emas ke Sunway Convention Centre untuk suntikam pertama Vaksin Covid 19. Dari Abang Rela ke Sukarelawan KBS, akak2 nurse,doktor2, abang2 ATM. Warga emas menerima layanan yang sungguh mesra dan istimewa.Terimakasih ! On behalf of warga emas di Malaysia (walaupun aku belum lagi sampai kategori ini lagi )

Several studies have shown that older adults prefer to be with their strong network such as close family and friends in the digital world (Karapanos, Teixeira, and Gouveia 2016; Kim and Shen 2020; Jung and Sundar 2016). Being on social media to make more friends are not their priority as they age they want to only stay within their close network circle. Unlike the younger adults who loves to expand their network presence such as meeting new friends in the digital world. Even if older adults have Facebook most of the times it is for surveillance (checking out what others are up to or for the sake of their children.). Of course, there is exception to a few.
If you see any older adults on their mobile it is not Facebook, Linked,Instagram in or any social media platform that provides visibility. Its most probably Mobile Instant Messaging (MIM) such as WhatsApp or You Tube. What is your observation?
