I brought Fresh Datong Potato Noodles all the way flew back to Kuala Lumpur, just because I like the Al-dente texture after I tried their Lamb Offal Noodles. The soup was way too oily. To make this noodles worth eating, I decided to cook Asam Laksa broth to eat with my noodles. Thank God, it turned out super delicious. Love it so much.

🍲Mee Goreng Basah Kunci Hatiku♥️

Saya membesar di Kuala Terengganu, Mee Goreng Basah sememangnya makanan kes**aan kami sekeluarga. Semenjak tinggal di Selangor selama 27 tahun, jarang saya jumpa Mee Goreng Basah yang sedap dengan bau asap kuali "Wok Hei".Jadi, terpaksalah saya masak sendiri. Siapa yang tak s**a makan mee kuning goreng berkuah banjir panas-panas terutamanya dimasak dengan Mee Kuning Cap Kunci yang kenyal? Raya ni ada cuti panjang, saya dah jadi tukang masak Mee Goreng Basah untuk keluarga saya. Terima kasih EHH Food Industry Sdn Bhd kerana mee kuning syarikat tuan cukup kenyal dan sedap.

Thank you Zhen Mei Wei 真美味 for this Traditional Dried Pan Mee. First time trying, I think the Pan Mee texture was very al-dente and can compete with those fresh Pan Mee sold in the shop. Taste wise was up to my expectation although the anchovies were a bit salty but it ended up just nice after mixing with the Pan Mee. The boiled Pan Mee was weighing around 260gm per serving which was sufficient to make you satisfy. You can add your own side ingredients or toppings to make it more complete. I think this Pan Mee can also be given to oversea friends as a gift. Highly recommended.

It has been 4 years, I celebrated CNY without my mom. I cooked this dish called "Golden Sotong Balls Swimming In The Red Sea" in remembrance of my mom who loved to eat Sotong (Cuttlefish) so much, although she had left with few teeth and didn't like to wear her dentures. In order to let my mom tasted her favourite Cuttlefish, I made it into Cuttlefish Balls to help her to chew easily. The last I cooked this dish once was in 2021 CNY and using fresh Cuttlefish to make it into balls and cut into small pieces to feed my mom. Today, I am cooking it again using Zhen Mei Wei 真美味 Hawthorn Sweet and Sour Sauce because this dish was unique and meaningful to me and my family in remembrance of my late mom. This sauce was one of our favourites too.

26.9.2024: It has been quite sometimes I did not update my cooking photos. I had some chicken breast and white Tofu, I just made the Signature Tofu (招牌鸡肉豆腐) and it turned out super delicious.

Super Crispy 鸡肉馅饼 (Chinese Chicken Pie) and 豆沙馅饼(Red Bean Paste Pie) - Super delicious until you can't stop eating. Highly recommended Sauh Flour.
