Available to scholars and professionals who have not previously worked in India.

SENIOR CREATIVE AND PERFORMING ARTS FELLOWSHIPS

The Department of History at *Brown University* invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track position, at the assistant professor level, in *Southeast Asia*. Historically informed research in all subfields, regions, and time periods will be considered. The appointment will begin on July 1, 2024, or as soon as possible thereafter. Ph.D. or equivalent is required by time of appointment.

The department places a high priority on research excellence, high-quality teaching, and a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive academic community. Interested candidates should speak to their ability to contribute to each of these three areas in a letter of application.
