How learning should sound like 🌿

✨ Courage is not always loud.

Sometimes courage looks like:
trying again after making a mistake.

Walking into a room feeling nervous…
but still saying,
“Hi.”

Courage is admitting:
“That was my fault.”
And learning to make it right.

It is saying,
“I don’t like that.”
“I feel sad.”
“I need help.”

As adults, we often think courage means being fearless.

But for children,
courage can simply mean:
taking one small step forward while their heart is still scared.

Maybe our children do not need to become someone who never cries.

Maybe they just need to know:
when they are afraid,
someone will still hold their hand and say,
“It’s okay… take your time.”

Because brave children are not raised by pressure.

They are raised by feeling safe enough to try again. 💛

Tonight’s question for your child: “What does courage mean to you?” ✨

At 2%, we think carefully about how materials are presented.

We invited the children to explore old clothes, flowers, leaves, and natural colours through flower pounding.

Notice the textures, the colours, and the simplicity.
No one tells the child exactly what to create — the materials already offer a question:

“What can this become?”

The children pause, observe, touch, arrange, and pound.

Through this process, they learn that an old piece of clothing doesn’t have to be thrown away. It can be remade, redesigned, and given a new story.

This may look like a simple art activity, but it is actually a thoughtfully prepared experience to support creativity, sustainability, problem-solving, and independent thinking.

From old clothes to new creations — children learn that beauty can be found in what we choose to see differently. 💛
