In the busyness of everyday life, we often forget to slow down and give our minds a moment of peace.
Penang Read is an open, relaxed, and pressure-free reading movement that welcomes everyone, children, teenagers, parents and seniors, to gather in a park and rediscover the joy of reading in nature.
Reading is not only about gaining knowledge. It is also a way to rest the mind, nurture personal growth, and find strength and inspiration for life’s journey.
At the park, there are no rules, no schedules, and no expectations. Simply bring a book, slow down, and enjoy a peaceful and meaningful reading experience.
This event is jointly organized by Pertubuhan Pendidikan Apresiasi Pulau Pinang (Penang Appreciation Education Association) and Pusat Khidmat ADUN Seri Delima (Seri Delima State Assembly Service Centre).
