CALL FOR PAPERS - The 15th International Conference on Power Electronics and Drive Systems (PEDS 2025)

The 15th IEEE International Conference on Power Electronics and Drive Systems (PEDS 2025) will be held in Penang, Malaysia on 21 – 24 July 2025. The conference is a biennial event and is recognized as one of the major series of conferences in power electronics and drive systems. PEDS 2025 continues to retain its tradition of high-quality conference and will open up an opportunity for academics and industrial professionals worldwide to exchange their knowledge of the state-of-the-art power electronics and drive technologies and applications. The 4-day programme will feature tutorials and technical paper presentations. Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.

The "Preparing Technical Research Papers for Publication in High-Impact Journals" workshop, organized by the Power Electronics Research Group at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in collaboration with IEEE PELS Malaysia Chapter and IEEE Malaysia IE/IA Joint Chapter, was held from March 8 to 10, 2024, at the Institute of Leadership and Development (ILD) UiTM, Lebuh Enstek, Bandar Enstek, Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. The event attracted 17 participants from the School of Electrical Engineering, UiTM. It was launched by Associate Professor Ir. Ts. Dr. Rahimi Baharom, who is also the Chapter Chair of IEEE PELS Malaysia Chapter, and featured a keynote by Associate Professor Ir. Dr. Ahmad Ihsan Yassin, the Chapter Chair of IEEE Malaysia IE/IA Joint Chapter. The workshop aimed to equip attendees with essential skills for manuscript preparation tailored to high-impact journals, focusing on selecting suitable journals, structuring papers effectively, and responding to reviewer feedback.
