Ever since the last update, I've been extremely busy in creating other robots by implementing different strategies to handle different market conditions. The last post showed you Thor Ultimate v0, our first trading robot that did 3,021.64% compounded annual net profit in 2023, with 2 months of losses in the magnitude of around 4%.

Before I started working on other robots, I've updated v0 to v0.1, by weeding out some consolidation trades that the robot could not handle well, and voila, it improved all the general statistics in one go! From a compounded return of 3,021.64% to 5,215.09%!

But of course, don't be fooled by the compounding effect. In reality, we would withdraw our wins to derisk and protect our capital. With this new update, uncompounded average return per month stood at 39.27%! That's still serious, consistent profit!

Today is the official beginning of the Period 9 fire era! While most people will be depositing $ into the bank, I wanna do something different 😉
Here is the forward test result for January 2024 for one of the robots - Thor Ultimate! Don't you just love the performance despite only 50% of the trades were right?

Let me prove my point of flawed TradingView backtesting results. Here is the same robot like the one I shared in my previous post. The robot employed the same strategies, but just with trailing stop as a profitable exit. Look how different the performance was?
20,213.6% compounded return for 2023! Is this realistic? No of course! This is the result of the TradingView flaw when robots use trailing stop as an exit strategy. But will trailing stop prove to be more profitable than fixed targets? Statistically it should be, but it won't go anywhere near the 20 thousand odd % we see here 🤣
For comparison's sake, this will be developed next very quickly to see which robot can generate better yield. Stay tuned!
