One room. Different Operating Companies. One shared commitment to stronger leadership.

We are pleased to share the successful completion of our Leadership Masterclass Series: Mastering Business Influence – Sales Persuasion & Stakeholder Engagement, organised by Technical Training Institute (TTI), DRB-HICOM University of Automotive Malaysia.

The session brought together participants from across DRB-HICOM Operating Companies, creating an opportunity not only to learn, but also to exchange experiences, perspectives and ideas across the Group.

TTI Team had the privilege of facilitating the HCX 1.0 – Workforce Optimisation Engine Action Lab for HICOM Engineering Sdn. Bhd. bringing together leaders to align workforce strategies, address organisational challenges, and drive sustainable business transformation.

The programme commenced with an inspiring opening address by En. Shamsol Anuar CHCO of DRB-HICOM Berhad, setting the strategic direction for the organisation’s human capital transformation journey. This was followed by a valuable HR Strategy Briefing by Dr. Rashida Mat Rani CPSO of HICOM Engineering Sdn. Bhd. who shared the organisation’s strategic workforce priorities and future HR agenda.

A key highlight of the day was the leadership message from HESB CEO, En. Hazrin Haroon who reminded us that strong leadership is built upon three essential principles: Responsible, Accountable, and Reliable (RAR) values that continue to shape organisational excellence.

Participants also gained valuable insights during the Industry Catalyst Session, where En. Amran Mohd Tomin , Group Chief People Officer of Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), delivered a powerful presentation on applying the QCD Framework to HR, demonstrating how human capital strategies can directly contribute to business performance.

Impactful 4DX Workshop, facilitated by Ahmad Zulkarnain Abdullah where participants translated strategic priorities into clear commitments and actionable plans. More importantly, the team collaboratively developed practical HR initiatives that will continue to be implemented well beyond HCX 1.0.
