On 17 August 2026, 14 students from Yamawaki Gakuen High School in Tokyo, Japan, accompanied by four teachers, visited LENS and enjoyed an immersive experience in the world of Alice and English.
The students, who are equivalent to Form 4 and Form 5 students in Malaysia, explored the exhibits and displays related to English culture. They showed great interest in the characters and the world of the story, enjoying the opportunity to experience literature and culture in a different setting.
Ms. Tomii, an English teacher from Yamawaki Gakuen High School, praised the introduction of the book’s characters, noting that it was easy to understand and engaging for the students.
Although the visit was limited in time, the students were able to make the most of their experience and enjoy a meaningful and memorable visit to LENS. The visit also provided a valuable opportunity to promote educational and cultural exchange between Japan and Malaysia.
