The Formation of a Rainbow 🌈✨
☀️ Sunlight + 💧 Water = 🌈 Rainbow
Materials:
🔦 Torch
🥛 Glass of water
🪞 Mirror
📄 White paper
Steps:
1️⃣ Fill the glass with water 💧
2️⃣ Put the mirror into the water 🪞
3️⃣ Shine light onto the mirror 🔦☀️
4️⃣ Watch the rainbow appear on the paper 🌈📄
Science Concept:
💡 Light bends when it passes through water (Refraction)
🌈 White light splits into 7 colours (Dispersion)
