ied personnel especially those allowed to certify aircraft airworthiness command high salaries and are highly sought-after. Designed to fill the demand created by the booming aviation and travel industries worldwide, students from Nilai U's programmes will be trained in the essentials of servicing and maintaining modern aircraft before embarking on a six-month on-the-job training. Nilai U is one of the few institutions equipped with a hangar complete with a King Beech Turbine aircraft for students to further hone their skills. Also included in the 5,000-plus sq ft hangar are state-of-the-art lecture theatres, workshops and audio-visual rooms. Although students are placed on a six-month on-the-job-training programme as part of the syllabus, having the opportunity to train under the supervision of Nilai U’s experienced lecturers give students more confidence when stepping into real working environments.
