🏐 A First Step into Competitive Netball
Our students recently represented Destiny International School at a friendly netball match held at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium. For many of them, it was their first opportunity to compete against students from other schools and experience the excitement of playing in a larger sporting environment.
Beyond the game itself, the experience was filled with valuable lessons in teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship. We are proud of the courage and determination our girls showed as they stepped onto the court and gave their best.
A meaningful first experience and the beginning of an exciting netball journey ahead. Well done, girls! 💙

Did you spot our Year 3 & 4 students at Tanjung Emas and Masjid Jamek Muar last week? 🗺️
They weren’t just out for a standard school trip. Our students turned these iconic local landmarks into a live learning space, using their math lessons to analyze the architectural geometry and applying their English skills to write real-time field reports.
Seeing our children naturally step up, think critically, and use what they learn in the classroom out in the real world is exactly the kind of growth that makes a parent proud.

“Teacher, I can’t do Math…”
Sometimes, confidence is the first thing students lose when a subject feels difficult.
In Ms Ann’s class, learning Math is not about getting everything right straight away. It is about trying again, understanding step by step, and knowing it is okay to make mistakes.
A little encouragement goes a long way and sometimes, that is all a child needs to start believing in themselves again. 💙
Because every child learns differently and every small progress deserves to be celebrated.

Today, we celebrate the people who quietly shape every story of growth within our school. Our teachers are more than educators. They are guides, listeners, motivators, and steady pillars who show up every single day with patience and purpose.
At Destiny International School, learning is never just about what happens in the classroom. It is about the values lived daily. Perseverance when learning feels difficult, respect in every interaction, independence in thinking, discipline in action, and empathy in understanding others. Our teachers bring these values to life in ways that leave a lasting impact on every student they teach. 🌱
To all our teachers, thank you for the work you do when no one is watching and for the difference you make that lasts far beyond the school gates. You are truly shaping futures every day. 💙

Our Community Stories | Parents' Edition
At Destiny International School, confidence is nurtured through everyday learning experiences where students are encouraged to take small but important steps forward.
With a supportive environment and teachers who take time to understand each child, students gradually begin to speak up, participate, and believe in their own abilities.
Learning here goes beyond the classroom. Through hands-on and collaborative activities, students build communication skills, independence, and confidence in a natural way.
And sometimes the most powerful change is simply seeing a child who was once quiet now choosing to take part.

📮🍣 Real-world learning in action for our KS1 students.
The day began at the post office, where students gained insight into how postal systems operate and experienced the journey of sending a letter from start to finish.
They then continued to Sushi King, where learning took a hands-on turn. Students were introduced to the art of sushi-making, exploring techniques, ingredients, and presentation before trying it themselves 🍱
A meaningful blend of communication, culture, and life skills, building confident learners who understand the world beyond the classroom

📮 Learning goes beyond the classroom for our Early Years.
Last Friday, our EY students visited the post office, where they explored how mail travels from sender to receiver. They observed the process firsthand and proudly posted letters they had created with their teachers, turning classroom creativity into a real-world experience.
The journey continued at Kooma Land, where curiosity met joy as the children explored, played, and learned through interaction in a new environment
At Destiny, every experience is designed to nurture confidence, curiosity, and independence in our youngest learners
