From thinking to action, and from individual ideas to one shared creation — the children worked together to build a place for their “babies.”

They planned, discussed, adjusted, rebuilt and supported one another along the way.

What they created was more than a structure.

It became a symbol of care, belonging and safety — a space where someone precious can feel protected, welcomed and loved.

他们用简单的木块、树枝和开放的空间，搭建的其实不只是“房子”。

他们正在建立一种归属感、连接感，以及属于自己的安全空间。

每一个作品都不一样。
每一个想法都有自己的故事。
每一个孩子，都为这个空间加入了属于自己的部分。

With simple wooden blocks, sticks and open space, they were not just building houses. They were building meaning, connection and a place they could call their own.

Every structure looked different.
Every idea carried a story.
Every child added something special.

And that is the beauty of giving children the freedom to create.

In that moment, we could see more than creativity. We could see their thinking, cooperation, problem-solving and sense of belonging coming alive.

📘 我们的学习反思日志

在九月学习营里，反思不是额外的活动，而是学习过程中的一部分。

当孩子经历了运动、探索、创造、学习和游戏之后，我们邀请他们回头看看：

我做了什么？
我学到了什么？
我最喜欢什么？
什么地方让我觉得困难？
下一次，我想怎样做得更好？

而当我们给予孩子自由去创造时，很美的事情就会发生——每一本日志都会变得不一样。

不同的颜色。
不同的图画。
不同的想法。
不同的表达方式。

因为，每一个孩子都是独一无二的。

我们不需要每个孩子做出一模一样的作品。更重要的是，他们开始看见、理解并表达属于自己的学习旅程。

🌱 觉察 • 思考 • 创造 • 反思

当孩子得到适当的引导、空间和信任，他们不只是完成一个活动，而是在慢慢发现：

“原来，我是这样学习的。”

At our September Camp, reflection is not an extra activity — it is part of the learning process.

After children move, explore, create, study and play, we invite them to look back:

What did I do?
What did I learn?
What did I enjoy?
What was difficult?
What would I do differently next time?

And when we allow children the freedom to create, something beautiful happens — every journal begins to look different.

Different colours.
Different drawings.
Different ideas.
Different ways of expressing the same experience.

Because every child is unique.

We do not need all children to produce the same page. What matters is that each child is beginning to recognise and express their own learning journey.

有些孩子也画出了自己的眼睛、耳朵、手和大脑 —— 这代表他们开始觉察到，学习不仅需要工具，也需要我们的身体、感官与思考。

每个孩子都用不同的方式，通过文字和图画表达自己的想法，但背后的学习是一样的：

“我开始知道，学习时我需要什么。”

📚 My Best Friends During Learning Time

Sometimes the most meaningful learning begins with one simple question:

“What helps me learn?”

Looking at the children’s reflections, their answers went beyond pencils, erasers, rulers and books.

Some included their eyes, ears, hands and brain — showing that they are beginning to recognise that learning involves their whole body, senses and thinking.

Each child expressed the idea differently through words and drawings, but the learning behind it is the same:

I am becoming aware of what I need when I learn.

🍕 Making Pizza for Tea Break

🍕 为下午茶制作披萨

From planning the ingredients to preparing, assembling and finally enjoying their own pizza — every step becomes part of the learning.

Children practise following steps, making choices, working together, waiting, sharing and taking responsibility.

And when something does not go exactly as planned, that becomes another opportunity to think, adjust and try again.

More than making pizza — we are giving children the chance to experience:

“I can do it when you guide me and give me the opportunity to try.”

从计划食材、准备材料、动手组合，到最后一起品尝自己制作的披萨，每一个步骤都是学习的一部分。

孩子在过程中练习：
跟随步骤、做选择、团队合作、等待、分享，以及为自己的任务负责。

当事情没有完全按照计划进行时，也正好成为孩子学习思考、调整和再次尝试的机会。
