🎙️ The Lighthouse Dialogue Episode 6 – Exploring the Future of Tourism in Miri

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Karambir Singh for joining us as a special guest during our recent 1-Day Influence Speaking Training at Piasau Nature Reserve.

Mr. Karambir generously shared his insights on the rich history of Piasau Nature Reserve and its tremendous potential as a tourism destination. His passion for Miri's development was truly inspiring and gave our students a deeper understanding of the opportunities that lie ahead for our city.

During the dialogue, he highlighted the collective efforts of the Miri community and the government in promoting tourism through meaningful initiatives such as the Taste of Borneo Festival and the upcoming Heritage Museum, both of which will further strengthen Miri's appeal to local and international visitors.

He also expressed optimism about the future impact of improved road connectivity to destinations such as Bario Highlands, Niah, and Mulu, believing that better accessibility will play a significant role in boosting tourism throughout the region.

Miri is a city blessed with natural beauty, cultural diversity, and immense potential. As new developments continue to take shape, we can look forward to an even brighter future for tourism, economic growth, and community development.
