🏆✨ ENGLISH CARNIVAL JOHOR STATE LEVEL 2026 ✨🏆

Alhamdulillah. What a journey it has been.
There were moments when the road ahead seemed impossible. There were obstacles, sacrifices, endless practices, and countless prayers along the way. Yet, through perseverance and determination, our students proved that no dream is too big and no stage is too grand for those who dare to believe. 💪❤️

This year, SeKaTE represented the district of Mersing in three categories: Storytelling Level 1, Scrabble, and Poetry Recitation. Competing against exceptionally talented contestants from all over Johor was never an easy task, but our children showed that students from a small kampung can stand shoulder to shoulder with anyone when passion, hard work, and resilience lead the way. 🌟

And by the grace of Allah, every single participant emerged among the Top 5 in the state:
🏅 Scrabble — 5th Place
🥈 Poetry Recitation — First Runner-up
🏆 Storytelling Level 1 — State Champion

Congratulations to our Ammar, Afrina, Iman, Danial, and Naufal. Your achievements are remarkable, but what makes us even prouder is the dedication, discipline, and fighting spirit that you displayed throughout this journey.

The trophies are merely symbols; the true victory lies in the lessons learned, the confidence gained, and the memories created. ✨

To our beloved SeKaTE family—the Headmaster, senior assistants, teachers, and staff—thank you for your unwavering support and prayers. 🤝

To all the parents, thank you for your trust, sacrifices, and endless commitment. Your encouragement has been the pillar behind every success. ❤️

And to everyone who kept us in your prayers and cheered us on from near and far, thank you. We are deeply grateful for every kind word, every doa, and every gesture of support. 🙏

Just like the years before, this is another beautiful chapter that we will carry in our hearts forever. Trophies may gather dust, but the knowledge, friendships, experiences, and memories forged along the way will continue to shine for years to come. ✨🌹

It’s been a while since the last update — life has been incredibly hectic lately, to be honest 😅. But business runs as usual.

This year, our school participated in several events: Dare-to-Spell, Scrabble, Storytelling Level 1 (2 participants), Storytelling Level 2, and Poetry Recitation. Every single participant put in tremendous effort, and we couldn’t be prouder of them. ❤️

Here are our official results:

Competitions are not only about trophies or rankings; they are also about growth, courage, discipline, and the willingness to step out of your comfort zone. And in that sense, every single one of you has already won.

We have witnessed your hard work during practices, your determination when things got tough, and your courage when stepping onto the stage. That alone makes us incredibly proud. 💖

This year’s carnival has truly been a beautiful and memorable journey — filled with challenges, laughter, nervous moments, and sweet victories. We learned a lot, and we grew together.

We humbly ask for your continued prayers for our pupils who will be representing Mersing District at the state level. May Allah ease their journey, grant them confidence, and bless them with success. 🤲✨

We are impressed!!! This activity is aimed to let the pupils refocus after the three weeks school holiday and they did just that. Though their English a little rusty 😅, we understand their visions and targets this year especially when it comes to English learning. Despite of all future challenges, we will try our level best to assist them in achieving their dreams..

📌Karnival Perpaduan Semarak Bahasa Peringkat Kebangsaan 2025
📌27-30 October 2025
📌Lotus Beach, Spa and Resort, Desaru, Johor

The whole experience was just amazing. The kids gave their all and even managed to make the audience cry with their heartfelt performance — the emotions they stirred were beyond words. 💖

We followed every single rule in the concept paper. But even if the judges didn’t think it was good enough, that’s okay — because we’ve given our very best and left nothing on the plate.

Many teachers from other states personally came up to congratulate the kids for their brilliant performance. They might not have won the competition, but they surely won the audience’s hearts — and ours too. 💫

Well done, Hanis and Iman! You were absolutely brilliant and made us all so, so proud! 👏👏👏👏

To everyone who supported us along the journey - THANK YOU. Your love and support is much appreciated❤❤

Another great experience we gained during the Johor State Level English Carnival 2025 held from 3rd -4th September 2025 at Pepustakaan Raja Zarith Sofeah @ UTM JB.

Our school represented the Mersing district in two events, namely Scrabble (Maizatul Syakirah and Iman Amani of 6 Pintar) and Poetry Recitation ( Hanis Syuhadah -6 Pintar and Iman Thaqif- 4 Pintar).

They fought hard during on the competition days after one month of preparation. The practices they had were relentless and yet they endured the torturous sessions without any complaint. Regardless of the results, we are immensely proud of all of them.

Special thank to EVERYONE for EVERYTHING that they have done throughout this amazing journey. Without any, we wouldn't even be in this position. 💐💐.
