We are thrilled to announce the Diyanet Scholarships, offering an exceptional opportunity for students to pursue their educational dreams in the levels of high school, undergraduate and graduate in Türkiye. This comprehensive scholarship program includes:
12 Months of Scholarship Support: Beneficiaries will receive financial support for a full year, aiding their academic journey.
Free Housing: Students in need of accommodation can avail of free housing in Türkiye Diyanet Foundation dormitories, ensuring a comfortable and conducive living environment.
Health Insurance Coverage: All healthcare expenses will be fully covered by the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation (TDV), ensuring students have access to the necessary medical care without any financial burden.
Tuition and Residence Fee Waiver: TDV will cover all tuition and residence fees, removing financial barriers to education.
Transportation Costs for International Students: TDV will cover the transportation costs for international students traveling to and from Türkiye in the beginning and end of academic year to their home countries.

HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS
Applicants for Anatolian Imam Hatip High School Scholarship Program have to meet
the following conditions:
• Not to be a citizen or not to have a claim to become a citizen of the Republic of Turkiye,
• To be born not earlier than 01.01.2008,
• To be single (not married),
• To graduate from a school (secondary or intermediate) equivalent to grade 8 in Turkey with at least a good degree of (70%),
• Not to be penalized for any disciplinary action during his education in his country,
• Not having repeated or suspended from the school more than two years without a valid excuse after completing secondary school,
• Not having finished primary school in Turkiye,
• Not to have any mental or physical health problem or obstacle to study in Turkiye,
• Families of students must live outside of Turkiye,
• Not to be a refugee and not to live with the family in Turkiye,
• To live in his own country where he is a citizen,
• Those registered in International Anatolian Imam Hatip High School Program and those who finished secondary education in the Republic of Turkiye.
UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS
Applicants for Türkiye Diyanet Foundation International Islamic Studies Scholarship Program have to meet the following conditions.
1. Not to be a citizen of the Republic of Türkiye.
2. Those who are Turkish citizens or lost Türkiye citizenship for any reason can not apply to International Islamic Studies Scholarship Program.
3. To be born after 01.01.2003.
4. Not to have any mental or physical health problem and obstacle to study in Türkiye.
5. To graduate from a high school equivalent to grade 12 in Türkiye with at least a good degree (70%) or to be able to graduate in July of the relevant year.
6. Not having received any disciplinary punishments or convictions in your countries.
7. Not taking a break from his education for more than two years after high school.
8. Those who are previously Türkiye Diyanet Foundation’s student while he/she is studying at any educational level can apply if his/her scholarship has not ended by the Foundation.
9. Those who are currently studying in Türkiye can not apply to TDV’s Islamic Studies Scholarship Program.
GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS
International Graduate Level Islamic Studies Scholarship Program Conditions
• To not be a citizen of the Republic of Türkiye, (graduates from the International Theology License Program are excluded from this condition. These students have to apply with their foreign ID.)
• To not have reached the age of 30 since January 1st of the year in which the application is made, (01.01.1994)
• To not have paused academic education for a duration of more than two years between the bachelor’s degree graduation and the acceptation to the postgraduate program,
• To have a bachelor’s degree thesis, (if the university the student graduated from offered a thesis program)
• To have graduated from Divinity, Islamic Studies or a program of equivalent value or to be able to graduate by the date of July 2024 ,
• To not have any mental or physical health problem which would cause an obstacle to study in Türkiye,
• To not have received any disciplinary punishments or convictions during previous periods of education,
• Students who graduated abroad require an internationally recognised language certificate, (such as for English: TOEFL, IELTS, CPE, CAE, iBT and PTE / for German: TestDaF, DSD II, TELC Deutsch and Goethe Institute / for French: DELF and DALF / for Italian: CELI / for Spanish: DELE / for Russian: TORFL / for Arabic: ALPT)
• Foreign students who graduated in Türkiye or will be able to graduate by the time of July 2024 require to have reached a score of at least 50 in the YDS/YÖKDİL language exams which are organised by ÖSYM,
• Preferably, foreign students who graduated in Türkiye or will be able to graduate by the time of July 2024 require to have reached a score of at least 55 in the ALES exam which is organised by ÖSYM,
• Preferably, to have published an internationally recognised edition.

Students will be matriculated in one of the following universities located in Ankara, Bursa, İstanbul, Konya or Kayseri.

Scholarship support will be provided for a duration of 12 months,
Free housing support is provided to students who request accommodation in Türkiye Diyanet Foundation dormitories.
Health insurance / healthcare expenses will be covered by TDV,
Tuition and residence fees will be covered by TDV,
Transportation costs of students who come from abroad will be covered by TDV for their first arrival and when they return to their countries after graduating from their program.
