SNAP! 07/03/20
Lots of snap and crackle this week as we combed the park for twigs and sticks, then measured and sorted them for firewood and skewers. We discussed friction and exercised great patience, watching and waiting as we tried to light our fire. Finally we enjoyed the reward for our hard work with toasted marshmallows and sticky choco bananas! It was a lovely way to finish our second block of sessions and we hope everyone enjoys the time off while we break. Thank you and see you again in April! 🍃🐜 @ Masai, Johor, Malaysia

SNAP! 22/2/20 This week we have been carpenters, painters, chefs and gardeners! SNAP 08/02/20 After a game of elephant apple football and another cookery session, we were inspired to play house and build a shelter today. Some of the children helped to secure the tarpaulin with the pegs and mallets while other worked to carry the heavy soup pot inside to eat together! #forestschool #shelterbuilding #imaginativeplay #malaysia #johor

SNAP 1/2/2020
New friends and new tools this week. We saw lots of enthusiasm from the group to be back in our lovely park yesterday. We developed our hand eye co-ordination and fine motor skills with mallets and tent pegs. So much fun to bash into the ground and working out how to remove them again. We also talked about safety bubbles to ensure we don't have any sore fingers. @ Masai, Johor, Malaysia

Happy New Year from SNAP! The children were so excited about getting back to our base camp yesterday. Butterfly catching was on the top of the agenda and then later, after mixing lots of mud potions, we helped some of our Snappers create some mud faces in the trees. @ Masai, Johor, Malaysia

Our first slackline has worn out and snapped already! We need to source something thicker to withstand the extensive bouncing and pulling! Despite the straight faces, this activity always brings the kids out in giggles. 😍
