Tomorrow, our classrooms come back to life as we welcome students for the first day of the new school year! 📚✨
The week leading up to their return has been a busy and exciting one as staff across the school worked together to ensure everything is ready for a fantastic start.
We were delighted to welcome new colleagues to our community, who took part in a comprehensive induction programme designed to help them settle into their roles and learn more about our school. A special thank you goes to Mr Tim and Ms Shamini for their hard work and dedication in creating and delivering an engaging programme for our new starters, as well as coordinating a valuable week of staff professional development.
Our academic staff enjoyed a rich programme of CPD, including a day of sessions and workshops on Adaptive Teaching led by Morgan Whitfield, an experienced senior leader, author, course designer and international speaker.
Meanwhile, our Facilities Team has been hard at work completing numerous projects across the campus, including the refurbishment of the West Block, helping to create even better learning environments for our students.
The week also provided an opportunity to celebrate leadership transitions within our community, with warm welcomes extended to Ms Sarah Chesworth as she begins her role as Principal and Dr Glenn Moodie as he takes up the role of CEO.
A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed to preparing the school for the year ahead. We are excited to see our students return tomorrow and look forward to a year filled with learning, growth, achievement and memorable experiences.
