1 Room 1 Responder: Officiating & Responder Installation Ceremony

Today marks a major milestone for the community's safety as we officially launch the 1 Room 1 Responder project and commission our newly qualified student responders.

Over the past four months, our recruits completed comprehensive hands-on training designed to handle critical real-world emergencies. Their coursework covered:

First Aid Fundamentals : Essential skills in rapid patient assessment, scene safety, and basic emergency care.

Choking Management & CPR : High-impact techniques for clearing blocked airways, executing the Heimlich maneuver, and performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.

General Sports Injuries : Practical response for athletic trauma, sprains, strains, bandaging, and minor wound care.

With their official installation today, these responders are officially stationed across all classrooms — easily identifiable by their project lanyards and ready to assist whenever needed.

Congratulations to our newly installed team for stepping up to make our school a safer place for everyone.

Both events were held on the weekend 6/6/2026 & 7/6/2026. Spent a wonderful weekend celebrating a massive milestone with the SJAM Bandar Hilir team! 🌟
