๐Ÿ“ธ Throwback to the Infineon Field Trip on 3 June 2026, held in conjunction with Infineon Week 2026!

This meaningful event was jointly organized by Infineon Technologies Malaysia, Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET), and Faculty of Information Science & Technology (FIST), with the trip led by IT Society Melaka.

During the visit, FIST students were exposed to the real working environment at Infineon, where they gained valuable insights into reporting and collaboration solutions, sales, business intelligence and analytics, as well as research and development alongside information management practices.

The field trip provided students with a valuable opportunity to connect academic learning with real industry practices and emerging technologies.

A big thank you to Infineon Technologies Malaysia for the warm hospitality and inspiring sharing sessions! ๐Ÿš€

๐ŸŒ MMU Strengthens International Academic Engagement in France

Multimedia University (MMU) was proud to participate in CESI International Week 2026, represented by Ts. Dr. Sumendra Yogarayan, Deputy Dean of Postgraduate and Collaborations, Faculty of Information Science and Technology (FIST).

The programme brought together academics and researchers from various countries for knowledge sharing, networking, and international collaboration. During the visit to CESI's campuses in Nancy and Strasbourg, Dr. Sumendra conducted a session titled "The Connected World: An IoT Design Sprint for Smart and Sustainable Systems", engaging third- and fourth-year students in exploring innovative IoT solutions for sustainability challenges.

The programme also provided valuable insights into CESI's Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach, and research activities at the CESI LINEACT Laboratory. In addition, new connections were established with academics and researchers from Europe and Africa, opening opportunities for future collaboration.

CESI International Week 2026 provided a valuable platform for academic exchange, international networking, and professional development. The experience strengthened existing relationships with CESI, created new opportunities for collaboration with new partners, and provided insights that can contribute to teaching, research, and internationalisation efforts at MMU.

The Faculty of Information Science & Technology (FIST), Multimedia University, is pleased to organize an Industry Knowledge Sharing session titled โ€œZero Day Stories โ€“ Inside Digital Forensics.โ€

This session aims to provide participants with real-world insights into digital forensics and cybersecurity practices, covering key areas such as:
-Digital Evidence
-Forensic Readiness
-Cybersecurity Investigations
-Incident Response

Participants will gain exposure to practical industry knowledge, current challenges, and investigative approaches used in handling cyber incidents.

The ceremony recognized students who demonstrated exceptional academic excellence and secured a place on the Deanโ€™s List. FIST warmly congratulates all award recipients and remains committed to supporting their continued achievements in both academic pursuits and future professional endeavors.
