看着孩子们亲手在园地里种下小小的菜苗，我的心也悄悄温暖了起来。

在这个节奏快速、与土地渐渐疏离的时代，能够陪伴孩子培养一颗亲近大自然的心，是多么珍贵的一件事。孩子们弯下身子，将幼苗种进泥土里，用双手感受土地的温度，也在劳动中学习耐心、责任与等待。

当孩子愿意付出劳动去栽培自己的食物时，他们不仅认识了食物从何而来，更在一次次的照顾与守护中，学会珍惜每一份来到餐桌上的恩赐。

这不正是最真实的身教吗？

与其只是透过书本认识世界，我们更愿意把真实的生活带到孩子面前，让他们透过不断重复的体验，在身体里、在心里，慢慢建立与自然的连结。因为真正的学习，不只是知道，而是亲身经历；不只是理解，更是感受。

Looking at the children plant young seedlings in our garden, I felt a quiet warmth arise within me.

In a era when life moves so quickly and many have become disconnected from the earth, it is truly precious to nurture in children a heartfelt relationship with nature. As they kneel on the ground and place each seedling into the soil, they are not only gardening—they are learning patience, responsibility, and the value of caring for something over time.

When children are willing to work with their own hands to grow food, they begin to understand where food comes from. Through tending, watering, and waiting, they develop a deeper appreciation for the nourishment that eventually arrives on their plates.

Isn’t this the essence of teaching by example?

Rather than learning only through books, we bring real-life experiences before the children, allowing them to learn through meaningful repetition. Through these lived experiences, they build a genuine connection with nature—not only in their minds, but also in their hearts and bodies.

True learning is not merely knowing; it is experiencing. It is not only understanding; it is feeling.

今天也品尝了红豆粽子，共同感受节庆的美好。

During our warm Dragon Boat Festival celebration, the children experienced the joy of the season through circle time, storytelling, handcrafts, and sharing red bean dumplings.

In Waldorf education, these meaningful festival rhythms nurture the child's Life Sense, fostering a deep sense of security, belonging, and connection to culture, community, and the world around them.

平衡板探索 ，滋养孩子的平衡觉

许妙姿医生在《病是教养出来》中提到，平衡觉不仅影响身体协调，更与专注力、聆听能力及情绪稳定息息相关。

当平衡觉尚未成熟时，孩子可能会容易跌倒、坐不住、专注力较弱，或特别喜欢不停地摇晃、转圈。

今天，孩子们透过平衡板自由探索，在一次次摇摆与调整中寻找身体的中心。看似简单的游戏，其实正在为未来的学习与成长打下重要基础。

🌸 当身体找到平衡，内在也会慢慢找到平衡。

Balance Board Exploration. Nurturing the Sense of Balance

Dr. Hsu Miao-Tzu shares that the sense of balance is closely connected to a child’s concentration, listening skills, and emotional well-being.

When this sense is still developing, children may be more prone to falling, have difficulty sitting still, struggle with focus, or constantly seek movement such as rocking and spinning.

Today, through balance board exploration, the children practised finding their center through movement and play. What looks like simple play is actually laying an important foundation for future learning and development.

When the body finds balance, the inner self can find balance too.
