Good evening and hi everyone. It's been a while.
I'm sorry for the late and I apologize if my sharing doesn't help much, but this was what I'd done for the past 3 years (2018-2020) and 1 year (including the year of application, 2021). 😅😅🙏
If most of you think that 'filing' is the main concern which makes you thinking thrice for Guru Cemerlang application, perhaps this is the right post for you to look at. I'd love to list all the files I compiled along the journey to be a GC. To me, I think there isn't any limit on the files you need to create. It's about quality over quantity and also how you present the best out of you when meeting the Nazirs.
1️⃣ Innovation/Research/Published Articles ✅
(Do it with partition, if you're thinking how to present your innovation in a ring file, transfer all your innovation ideas into a PowerPoint slide and print them out, one slide one page. For research, whatever instruments and data you've collected, put them in too. So it looks more presentable and convenient for the Nazirs to view. For this, I had two files because I carried two research, so those papers didn't fit in a file.)
2️⃣ Pupils Academic' Performance✅
(PBD/Public Examination Results, Exam Item Analysis, Self Proposed Interventions to help the low achievement pupils must be put in this file to present to the Nazir how you sculpt a pupil performance from a zero to hero. Highlight especially on the weaker pupils. Interventions that you've carried out, take photos of them and organize them in PowerPoint and print them out. Always show the impacts in both pictures and empirical data. Partition, of course.)
3️⃣ Certificates ✅
(Certificates for your job scopes in school for curriculum, HEM and co-curriculum, compile them as the first partition 'TUGAS KHAS', then subpartition them with 'Kurikulum', 'Hal Ehwal Murid' and 'Kokurikulum.
If there are certificates you received such as 'Sijil Guru Pembimbing/JU/Penceramah, organize them under any category of the subpartition, after your certs of 'TUGAS KHAS'.
If there are certificates of achievements for pupils under your guidance, put them together after your Sijil Guru Pembimbing.
Second partition would be your Certificates of your personal achievement. But if you think the limelight of your achievement might be covered by the first partition, then split them into two).
Overall, I compiled 7 files for my interview. 3 files for No.1, 2 files for No.2 and 2 files for No.3)
💡EXTRA TIPS💡
‼️ If you're holding any Tugas Khas for curriculum, such as Ketua Panitia/Penyelaras (anything that relates to your subject field, remember to update those files).
‼️RPH for the past 3 years + current year must be updated and make sure it's in line with the SoW you're using.
‼️Avoid flowery designs for your file covers ya Choose a more corporate design instead to give a more professional impression to the interviewers.
‼️Ensure what you've done and contributed in education field comply with the main principles of MEB in 10 limited slides of presentation. If you have extra slides, I suggest to name them as Appendices, at least it isn't considered as a slide count.
‼️Sell the best of yourself during the interview and also go all out for the teaching and learning (the most important part).
