Greetings from UTP Invitational CHESS Team Tournament 2014 organizing team.
First of all, we would like congratulate for those who are participating in this challenging tournament.

For your information, this tournament is 2-days competition mode (11-12 October 2014), so you may have accommodation problems regarding to this. Prior to this, we, the organizing team is trying our best to fulfill all your needs and requirements. Thus, we are here to help you to prepare the accommodation for your convenient so that all of you can be more concentrate and enjoy the tournament without hesitation.

UTP Invitational Chess Team Tournament

Date: 11&12 October 2014,Saturday & Sunday
Venue: Multi-Purpose Hall,Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS,Bandar Seri Iskandar,Tronoh,Perak
Format:Team event with 4 players
Team Composition: 4 players without reserve player. Students from any school or higher learning institution are invited to play. The team can be mixture of players from any learning institutions.
System of play: 7 round Swiss System
Time Control: 45 minutes + 30 seconds increment. All moves be recorded
Tie-break: Match point, game point, Buchholz, Sonnerborn-Berger
Prizes:
First: RM 1000+Cert+medals+Throphy
Second: RM 400+Cert+medals
Third: RM 300+Cert+medals
Fourth: RM 250+Cert+medals
Fifth: RM 200+Cert+medals
Best IPT, Best School, Best Board 1,2,3,4.
Entry Fee: RM 160.00 per team
Closing Date: 7 October 2014, Tuesday
