We gave our best presentation and report on the activities which we have done while being Geoparkians to the assessors on 26 and 27 of July 2011. Hopefully, it will help UNESCO to decide to let us be GEOPARKIANS forever...

On 27 July 2011, there will be a reassessment of the status of Langkawi Geopark. Being geoparkians have really helped in terms education and economy. So, hopefully, the result will be what we are hoping for.

Geopark- Langkawians should play a much more agressive role in promoting and preserving Langkawi... Children should be exposed to the needs to care for the island. What do you all think?

A group of LADA officers and proffesors from UKM and UPM came to visit our school yesterday to discuss the effects and outcome of Tunku Putra being the adopted school of Langkawi Geopark. Thank you UKM and LADA for the opportunity to expose our students to the informal approach of learning about nature.Hopefully, through this cooperation we will be able to inculcate sense of responsibility in future generation.
