Jom Belajar AI Programme

On 4th April, the staff and teachers of Sekolah Menengah Sri Pelangi participated in the “Jom Belajar AI” programme organised under the Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Lahad Datu (PPDLD), by the Unit Pendidikan Swasta PPDLD.

The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ understanding and skills in using Artificial Intelligence tools such as Canva, Notebook LM, Suno, ChatGPT, and Gemini. These tools were explored to support daily tasks, including the preparation of teaching materials and other professional work, making teaching and learning more efficient and creative.

A special thank you to Mr Chai Yapp Chien for the valuable sharing and insightful input throughout the session. We truly appreciate the knowledge and guidance given.

Earth Day Awareness Programme 2026

Today, Sekolah Menengah Sri Pelangi celebrated Earth Day with a meaningful and engaging programme aimed at raising environmental awareness among students.

The objectives of the programme were to instil love and responsibility towards the environment, encourage sustainable practices, and nurture a greener mindset among Pelangians.

Students actively participated in various activities, learning while having fun in a lively and supportive atmosphere. It was truly heartwarming to see their enthusiasm and teamwork throughout the event.

Monday Assembly Session

The Monday assembly was held today at Sekolah Menengah Sri Pelangi. During the assembly, students were congratulated for successfully completing the March Monthly Test.

Students were also reminded to continue practicing good manners, maintaining cleanliness, and upholding discipline throughout their time at school. In addition, the importance of wearing student identification (ID) while on school premises was also highlighted.

The school hopes that all students will continue to demonstrate positive values and responsibility in their daily school life.

Health Inspection Visit by the Ministry of Health

Today, representatives from the Ministry of Health Malaysia conducted an inspection visit to Sekolah Menengah Sri Pelangi.

The purpose of the visit was to assess the school’s cleanliness, safety standards, and compliance with health guidelines to ensure a safe, healthy, and conducive learning environment for all members of the school community.

We sincerely appreciate the cooperation and support of everyone involved in making this visit a success.

Ujian Bulanan Mac 2026

Sekolah Menengah Sri Pelangi is currently holding the Ujian Bulanan Mac this week. We hope all our students stay healthy, remain focused, and answer their papers with confidence and determination.

Week 5 Assembly.

5th Week Assembly for Sekolah Menengah Sri Pelangi kicked off a brand new Monday with positive energy and purpose. A meaningful start to the week as our school assembly reminded students that attitude and personal grooming reflect discipline and self-respect, values we practise every single day.

Emphasis was also given on classroom cleanliness, nurturing a comfortable and healthy learning environment for all. Not forgetting the excitement of the “Kelas Paling Ceria” competition, encouraging teamwork, creativity, and pride in our classrooms.

Small habits build great character. Let’s continue to grow, stay disciplined, and shine together as one Pelangi family.
