🌟 Class Activity Highlight 🌟

Students enjoyed a creative Animal Rescue Centre leaflet activity 🐶🐱. They practised writing, used suitable vocabulary, and expressed their ideas through drawings 🎨✏️. The activity also helped build kindness and responsibility towards animals, with great engagement shown throughout the lesson ❤️🐾

Project Challenge: Create Your Own Storyboard 🎨📘

Students worked in groups to create their own storyboard based on a story of their choice. With teacher guidance, they organised the story into main parts, drew key scenes, and arranged everything neatly on a manila card. 🖍️✨

Each group then presented their storyboard and narrated the story confidently to the class. A fun and engaging activity that built creativity, teamwork, and storytelling skills! 👏

🌿 Project A: Bring the Rainforest to Life! 🌳✨

Today, our students took on an exciting hands-on task—creating a 3D model of the rainforest layers as part of Project A. Each group designed their own model featuring the emergent layer, canopy, understory, and forest floor, complete with creative details and explanations of each layer’s role in the ecosystem.

Throughout the project, students worked together to plan, design, and build their models using the materials provided. They then presented their work to the class, showcasing not only their creativity but also their understanding of how each layer supports different plants, animals, and functions in the rainforest. 🌱🦜🌧️

This project wasn’t just about creating a model—it was a meaningful learning experience. Students gained:

✨ A deeper understanding of the rainforest ecosystem
✨ Improved teamwork and communication skills
✨ Hands-on experience in planning and problem-solving
✨ Confidence in presenting and explaining scientific concepts
✨ An appreciation for the importance of protecting our rainforests

In-Class Activity: Travel Survey Project 🚗🚌🚆

For Project Challenge – Project A: Do a Travel Survey, the students were divided into three groups to learn about different types of transportation.

The teacher displayed three vehicles on the board—bus, train, and car—and asked each group the question:
“Do you like travelling by…?”
Students answered independently, sharing their own preferences by saying “Yes, I do” or “No, I don’t.” This allowed them to practise speaking confidently and using complete sentences during the discussion. 🗣️✨

As the students responded, the teacher marked down their answers on the chart by placing ticks (✔️) in the correct boxes. This helped the students see how a survey works and how results are recorded clearly.

After all groups had responded, the class looked at the completed chart together and discussed:
Which vehicle most students liked travelling by
Which vehicle fewer students preferred

This activity helped students build confidence in speaking.
