St. Joseph's Private School is making history 🎬✨

For the first time ever, an animated musical film from Sarawak is set to hit theatres in 2028. At SJPS, we believe in meaningful collaboration—shaping future generations through media, music, culture, and the arts. Because education goes beyond books and classrooms; it comes alive through real experiences that inspire young minds.

This vision took a big step forward this morning as Motion Foundry Sdn Bhd and St Joseph’s Private Education Berhad officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Borneo Cultures Museum Auditorium.

This milestone marks the beginning of The White Rajah of Sarawak, Sarawak’s first animated musical feature film, scheduled for release on 22 July 2028. Stay tuned as we bring this story to life 🎶🎥

Our Heartiest Congratulations to SJPSS student ; Chua Poh Hui (Class of 2025) being awarded as one of the top 10 students in the whole of Malaysia for SPM 2025. She is the only one from Sarawak to receive this honour. On the 29th April 2026, at a ceremony at Istana Negara, Poh Hui received an award for being top 10 in Malaysia from Raja Permaisuri Agong Raja Zarith Sofiah binti Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah.

We applaud her hardwork, her dedication and her achievements through-out her years with us at SJPSS. From the bottom of our hearts, we wish her all the best in her future endeavours! God Bless!

Congratulations to fellow SJPSS student; Arabelle Leah Pei Yu Qian’s (Form 3 Kappa), on her recent dancesport achievements at the WDSF Philippine Superstars Open Dance Festival on the 18th - 19th April 2026 and on the 24th - 2th Apri 2026. She was awarded for the categories below :

18th - 19th April 2026
6th Place – WDSF Junior II Standard
2nd Place – Philippines Open Youth C Standard
5th Place – Philippines Open Youth A Standard
Semi-Finalist – WDSF Junior II Latin
6th Place – Superstar Junior Solo Samba

Congratulations to fellow SJPSS student; Francess Clare Lim Syn (Form 1 IOTA) on her tripple Gold win during the Sagyma Rhythmic Gymnastic Grading Competition 2026, held on 26 April 2026 at MMA Sports Hub Kuching, Sarawak.
She was awarded gold medal in the ball, clubs and ribbon routines (Grade 3 part 2 ). Her win is the highest grading in Sagyma Kuching! Well done Francess!

Heartiest congratulations to SJPSS Student; Avril Lim Rui See (Form 2 ETA) in her participation at the Sarawak AGG Carnival 2026, organized by the Sarawak Aesthetic Group Gymnastics Association (SAGGA) and sanctioned by the Malaysia Aesthetic Group Gymnastics Association (MAGGA) on 25.04.2026 and 26.04.2026.

She competed in the:
NAD Individual Level 2 category
Silver Medal, she was ranked 3rd place in her age group

NAD Group Level 2 category
Bronze Medal | Team was ranked 1st place in her age group

MAGGA National Series 1 2026 group level 2 category

Congratulations to SJPPS Student; Hannah Leong Fay Ying (Primary 4 Love) on her amazing achievements at the SAGYMA Rhythmic Gymnastics Grading Competition that was held at the MMA Sports Hub, Boulevard Kuching on the 26th April 2026. Hannah was awarded on these categories:
