The CDO Office is delighted to announce the successful official launch of the Digital Experience Hub (DEX Hub), developed in strategic partnership with Google. This event marks a significant step forward in advancing UNIMAS’s digital transformation strategy—equipping our students, academics, staff, and the wider local community with full access to cutting-edge AI and productivity suites, including Gemini and Google Workspace.

It is our great honour to welcome 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐤 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐫 𝐃𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐬 𝐔𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐡 𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐬, 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐤 in officiating this monumental milestone. We are grateful to YBhg Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Sulong Matjeraie, Chairman of the UNIMAS Board of Directors for his presence. We are deeply appreciative to YBhg Prof Dr Ahmad Hata, our Vice Chancellor for his unwavering leadership and vision.

The DEX Hub was created to advance the digital transformation initiatives in UNIMAS, including AI for our students, academics, staff, and the local community. 𝐈𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐠𝐥𝐞, our goal is equip the UNIMAS community with access to its full suite of productivity and AI tools, including Gemini and Google Workspace.

We are proud that Google has officially recognised UNIMAS as being the first institution of higher learning in Malaysia to certify staff members as Google Certified Educators (GCE) and becominga Google Reference University in the region.

This achievement would not have been possible without the invaluable support of 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬.
