The Chief Digital Officer’s Office is proud to announce the latest milestone in our Digital Transformation journey. This past week (11 May 2026 - 15 May 2026), we officially leveled up the AI capabilities of our students and staff.

Through a series of high-impact, hands-on sessions at the Digital Experience Hub, we achieved incredible results across 5 days:

Last Friday wrapped up with incredible momentum as we continued our campus-wide push for 𝐆𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐀𝐈 𝐏𝐫𝐨 𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 through the 𝐆𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦.

We welcomed our second cohort of non-academic to the sessions. This amazing group officially brought our total to 69 non-academic staff members trained and equipped with cutting-edge AI productivity workflows to accelerate digital transformation in daily tasks across UNIMAS.

The energy reached a whole new level that morning with our remarkable 𝐆𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧-𝐭𝐡𝐞-𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩. 76 selected UNIMAS students stepped up to become our next generation of peer-to-peer AI leaders, ready to champion advanced digital skills and tech adoption across campus.

The Gemini AI Pro Roadshow extended its reach yesterday afternoon to our dedicated non-academic staff (Staf Bukan Akademik) at the UNIMAS Digital Experience Hub (DEX Hub).

This session focused specifically on Administrative Productivity, providing exclusive exposure to how Gemini Pro can enhance task efficiency and professional communication. A total of 54 participants attended the afternoon session, engaging in interactive, hands-on modules designed to streamline administrative workflows through Artificial Intelligence.

By empowering our administrative talent with these digital tools, the Chief Digital Officer's Office continues to drive operational excellence across all levels of the university.

Yesterday marked the successful conclusion of the faculty-focused phase of our Gemini AI Pro Roadshow.

The morning session (Session 6) was met with great enthusiasm as 58 participants completed their final round of intensive training and earned their Gemini Academy Professional Credentials. This milestone ensures that our academic staff possess the cutting-edge tools necessary to continue leading in research and academic excellence.

On the third day of our 4-Day Journey, the Chief Digital Officer’s Office shifted the focus toward driving operational efficiency through practical AI integration.

The afternoon session (Session 5) saw 54 dedicated participants engage in hands-on workshops designed to automate routine administrative and academic tasks. By mastering these tools, our faculties are now better equipped to focus on high-level research output and enhanced student engagement.

Reflecting on the momentum of our second day at the UNIMAS Digital Experience Hub (DEX Hub). Day 2 of the Gemini Academy Certification Programme focused heavily on high-impact research methodologies.

Facilitated by our partners at DeLearn Technology, our Gemini Pro License holders explored the advanced analytical capabilities of NotebookLM, learning to synthesize complex research papers with unprecedented efficiency. We are proud to record that 88 participants successfully navigated the intensive modules (Session 3 in the morning and Session 4 in the afternoon), further strengthening UNIMAS's position as a leader in AI-enhanced academic excellence.
