Cyberjaya College Kuching is proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Optimum-Eden Healthcare Sdn Bhd, the company behind Eden On The Park Senior Lifestyle & Care Residence Resort, marking a significant step towards strengthening industry collaboration in aged care, rehabilitation services and healthcare education.

The partnership will provide students with valuable opportunities for clinical placements, internships, career readiness programmes and industry exposure, ensuring they are equipped with the practical skills and experience required by the healthcare sector. Through this collaboration, both organisations will also work together on student development initiatives and talent building efforts to support the growing demand for skilled healthcare and elderly care professionals in Sarawak.

This collaboration reflects Cyberjaya College Kuching’s commitment to delivering industry relevant education while creating meaningful pathways from education to employment for our students and graduates.

On 19 May 2026, Cyberjaya College Kuching organised an educational visit to the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (DUN) building. The delegation comprised members of the Student Representative Council, students from various academic programmes, and staff. The visit aimed to provide students with firsthand exposure to the roles and responsibilities of state assemblymen in administering their respective constituencies.

The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Tan Hun Seang, Senior Special Administrative Officer from the Office of the Deputy Premier of Sarawak. Mr. Tan led the group on a guided tour, sharing insights into the building's rich history, its iconic architectural design, and future expansion plans. As the DUN was actively in session, the delegation was granted access to the public gallery to observe live deliberations.

A highlight of the visit was the opportunity to meet and interact with YB Datuk Amar Professor Dr. Sim Kui Hian, Deputy Premier of Sarawak, Minister for Public Health, Housing and Local Government, and State Assemblyman for N.14 Batu Kawah. In his address to the students, the Deputy Premier highlighted the Sarawak Government's progress towards achieving its Post Covid-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030 vision. He also emphasised the vital role of the DUN, its parliamentary protocols, and how legislative decisions directly benefit the people of Sarawak.

Additionally, the delegation met with YB Billy Anak Sujang, State Assemblyman for N.1 Opar who shared his insights on environmental health being the former State Chief Environmental Health Officer of the Sarawak State Health Department.

Cyberjaya College Kuching extends its sincere gratitude to the Office of the Deputy Premier of Sarawak for graciously hosting the delegation despite the busy schedule of the ongoing legislative session.

Congratulations to everyone who secured their UPU placement. This is the beginning of an exciting new chapter towards a brighter future.
