Is all screen time really bad for children?
The answer is: No — not all screen time is the same.
Research shows that the impact of screen time depends on:
👉 What children watch
👉 How they use it
👉 Whether parents are involved
What studies show:
🚀 Passive screen time (random videos, fast-paced content) may lead to:
• Shorter attention span
• Overstimulation
• Reduced social interaction
🚀 High-quality screen time (educational & interactive) can:
• Improve language development
• Support thinking & problem-solving
• Encourage better engagement — especially with parental involvement
🎯 So the issue isn’t the screen — it’s how it’s used.
✔️ Interactive activities support learning
✔️ Parental involvement strengthens development
✔️ Educational content creates meaningful impact
Children don’t just watch — they think, interact, and learn.

Conditions for Repentance
Ramadan is the month of mercy, a beautiful opportunity to return to Allah with a sincere heart.
In Islam, repentance is not just saying “I’m sorry.” It is a conscious return to Allah with commitment and change.
Here are the essential conditions of true taubah:
1️⃣ Sincere Regret
Repentance begins in the heart. It requires genuine remorse and humility before Allah.
2️⃣ Stop the Sin Immediately
One must completely abandon the wrongdoing and distance themselves from situations, environments, or influences that may lead back to it.
3️⃣ Firm Determination Not to Return
True repentance includes a strong, sincere resolve never to commit the sin again even if we stumble, we keep returning with sincerity.
4️⃣ Restore the Rights of Others (If Involved)
If the sin harmed another person, we must make amends by return what was taken, seek forgiveness, and repair what was damaged.
Allah’s mercy is vast. No sin is too great when repentance is sincere.
Ramadan is your moment to begin again. Turn back. Seek forgiveness. Start fresh.

Etiquettes of Making Dua
Duʿa is not just a request. It is a return. A surrender. A quiet moment where the heart speaks and Allah listens.
Make duʿa with presence. Make duʿa with certainty. Make duʿa like you truly believe Allah can change everything in a single moment.
Remember, sometimes Allah answers immediately. Sometimes He delays to strengthen you. And sometimes He replaces it with something far greater than you imagined.
Never stop making duʿa. Because the One who listens never sleeps.

Dua for Forgiveness from Allah
Allah the Merciful teaches us how to repent to Him with the most beautiful of words in the Qur’an. One of the duas and ways mentioned in the Qur’an seeking forgiveness from Allah Almighty is mentioned below:
‘Lord, do not take us to task if we forget or make mistakes. Lord, do not burden us as You burdened those before us. Lord, do not burden us with more than we have strength to bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our Protector, so help us against the disbelievers.’

The First Sin and Repentance in Islam
Sinning in Islam refers to anything Allah has forbidden even if it seems agreeable to reason. For example the first sin in Islam was committed by Prophet Adam, May Allah be Pleased with him, when he ate the fruit Allah the Merciful specifically ordained him not to.
It is mentioned in the Quran that Adam (May Allah be pleased with him) was sent to Earth for his sin and asked Allah for forgiveness. Allah then taught him words of repentance and accepted them from him.
“Then Adam received some words from his Lord and He accepted his repentance: He is the Ever Relenting, the Most Merciful.”
Surah Al-Baqarah : 37
