One way to deal with this is to have a consistent learning schedule, uninterrupted and reliable.

Paraphrasing your points for summary:
1. find synonyms for several words in your points
2. rearrange the words in your phrases
3. answer the question, "So what is this point saying/about?"

I am tired of the endless mistakes students make with 'can' and 'could' as well as other modal verbs. Hope this Infographic helps.
