𝗧𝗞𝟮 𝗠𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 : 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗜𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 💡

Our TK2 Bougainvillea students recently took on an exciting mechanical design challenge focused on the inner workings of the crankshaft ⚙️

To truly understand how this vital component converts linear reciprocating motion into smooth rotational movement, the students stepped away from their textbooks and became inventors 👨‍🔧

They successfully designed and built their very own interactive automata toys from scratch. By engineering these moving figures, the class saw firsthand how mechanical parts interact to create continuous motion 🔄

𝗧𝗞𝟮 𝗕𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗮 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘂 : 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘇𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 📜

TK2 Bougainvillea students recently brought the historical novel 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐡 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐤 𝐝𝐢 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧 to life through a dynamic "Freeze Motion" activity in their Malay Language class.

By physically freezing in dramatic poses, students captured the tension and emotion of key scenes while the rest of the class engaged in discussions to analyze character traits and moral values revealed through body language 🏃🏻‍♀️

This interactive approach turned literary analysis into a meaningful, hands-on experience, proving that classic stories are best understood when students can see and feel the action come alive! 🙌

𝗜𝗣𝗖 𝗘𝘅𝗶𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 - 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 🎭

Our Year 5 students had a wonderful week celebrating the Exit Point of the 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐈𝐏𝐂 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭. They began with an assembly presentation, showcasing their learning about the Zones of Regulation. Our students performed skits, sang songs, and shared strategies for returning to the green zone.

Apart from that, they also hosted Humane Animal Society Sarawak (HASS); a non-profit organisation and held an Art Gallery to sell artwork created during this unit of learning, along with special guests and artists from the HOAN Art Gallery who joined for this memorable event! 🎨👩🏻‍🎨

They also had the opportunity to showcase their learning in the classrooms, confidently sharing and explaining their work on anti-bullying, the Zones of Regulation, and the seven elements of art 🖌️

Overall, it was a fantastic week of celebration and an opportunity for our students to showcase their learning!

Huge congratulations to Justin (IP3) and Fernando (IP4) for their awesome performance at the Pikabol Rising Star Medals Tournament U12! 🤾🏻

They secured a fantastic 3rd place finish through hard work and great teamwork 🥉 It’s wonderful to see our students excelling and stayed focused on the court. Well done! 👏

𝗜𝗣𝟲 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻! 🚀

Our IP6 students explored the exciting world of electrical circuits by building their own series and parallel circuits in teams ⚡

Through hands-on investigation, they observed how different circuit setups affect the brightness of bulbs — true young scientists at work! 💡

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗪𝘆’𝗝𝗶𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝘆'𝗘𝗲!

We are proud to celebrate our students for their outstanding performances at the 10th Yang Di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak (TYT) Cup and Borneo Cup 2026 Championships.

Wy’Jie (Y10) competed in the Male 16–17 years category (51–54 kg), where he earned the title of Best Boxer Male 2026 and secured an impressive victory in Round 1 — a true testament to his skill, discipline, and determination.

Not only that, Wy’Ee (NP5) also made her mark through her participation in the same championship, competing in the 34–37 kg category. She demonstrated great commitment, courage, and sportsmanship in the ring, reflecting strong character and a growing competitive spirit.

These achievements reflect not only their dedication to the sport but also their perseverance and determination to excel. Well done, Wy’Jie and Wy’Ee! 👏🥊

What a fantastic friendly match filled with energy, determination, and true sportsmanship from start to finish. Every pass, every interception and every goal reflected the hard work and teamwork from both sides.

More than just a game, it was an opportunity to grow, connect and celebrate the spirit of netball together.

It was a wonderful morning filled with energy, curiosity, and joyful learning at our Kindy Experience Day.

We welcomed over 180 visitors, and it was a pleasure seeing our young learners take part in hands-on activities and experience what a day at Kindy can be like.

A special appreciation to our dedicated teachers and staff for creating such a warm, engaging, and seamless experience for everyone.
