💛 Thank You for Making TPH Family Day So Special!

What a wonderful TPH Family Day it was! More than 1,600 people came together at Tunku Putra-HELP School on Saturday for a day filled with laughter, activities, good food and community spirit.

A heartfelt thank you to every family, friend, neighbour, vendor, student, teacher and staff member who joined us and helped make TPH Family Day such a memorable one.

Our Year 9 students, accompanied by three Science teachers, recently enjoyed an exciting three-hour educational visit to the newly opened Sarawak Science Centre (SSCiEX)! 🚀

The trip provided a wonderful opportunity for our students to explore, discover, experiment and learn beyond the classroom. Through hands-on activities and interactive exhibits, students were able to put their curiosity into action, make new discoveries and experience the wonders of Science in an engaging and meaningful way 🧠

It was a memorable day filled with curiosity, discovery, learning and fun! 💡

The second Coffee with Harry session brought together more TPH parents for an open and meaningful conversation with our Executive Principal, Mr Harry Roberts.

From sharing thoughts and ideas to getting to know our families better, it was another opportunity to listen, connect and continue building a strong TPH community.

𝗧𝗣𝗛 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀’ 𝗖𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 – 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 ☕

Our first TPH Parents’ Coffee Morning with our new 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥, 𝐌𝐫 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐬, brought together parents for a warm and engaging morning of conversation, sharing and getting to know one another.

Joined by 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 – 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥 (𝐖𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥), 𝐌𝐬 𝐈𝐝𝐚, Mr Harry had the opportunity to meet with parents, hear their thoughts and experiences, and share more about his vision and hopes for the TPH community 💬

From thoughtful conversations to plenty of friendly exchanges over a cup of coffee, it was a lovely morning spent building connections between our school leadership and parent community 🤝

𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺: 𝗡𝗣𝟰 𝗢𝘄𝗹𝗳𝗹𝘆 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽 🚌

On 19 August, our National Primary 4 Owlfly students visited Hornbill Skyways and Tanoti House. From discovering the world of aviation and flight operations to exploring Sarawak’s rich textile heritage and traditional craftsmanship, the students had the opportunity to connect their classroom learning with meaningful, real-world experiences.

The trip encouraged curiosity, creativity and social interaction while giving our young learners a deeper appreciation of the industries, culture and heritage within their own community. It was a memorable day of learning, discovery, culture and meaningful experiences beyond the classroom.
