The school would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Danishya Sanzela from St. Veronica 6 for proudly representing our school on the international stage at the 1st IFMA Muaythai School World Championship 2026.
The championship will be held from 16th to 21st June 2026 and we are immensely proud of this remarkable achievement.

Today, the school leadership team comprising the Headmistress, Senior Assistant of Administration, Senior Assistant of Student Affairs and Senior Assistant of Cocurriculum participated in the Global Harmony Dialogue Round 2 entitled:
“Empowering Students Through Inquiry and Journaling” by Ms Lau Wan Sze, Principal of Bukit Timah Primary School, Singapore.
This meaningful sharing session focused on best practices in empowering students through inquiry-based learning and reflective journaling to enhance critical thinking, student engagement and holistic development.
Objectives:
To gain insights and share best practices in school leadership and teaching approaches that support meaningful student learning experiences.
Summary:
The session highlighted effective strategies in cultivating students’ curiosity, reflective thinking and active participation through inquiry and journaling practices. The sharing also emphasised the importance of collaborative leadership and continuous professional learning among educators.
Impact:
The programme provided valuable exposure to innovative educational practices at the international level and strengthened professional networking among school leaders and educators.
Follow-up Action:
The school will explore the implementation of inquiry-based activities and reflective journaling practices in classroom teaching and co-curricular programmes to further enhance students’ learning experiences.

Summary:
The session provided valuable insights into financial planning, students’ mental health screening outcomes and the importance of continuous engagement between school leadership and Guidance and Counselling teachers. Participants actively exchanged ideas and discussed suitable intervention and support strategies for students.

• Increased awareness on effective financial management among staff.
• Better understanding of students’ emotional and mental well-being.

School Safety Committee Meeting

👥 Participants : All Teachers
Objectives:
1. To enhance school safety management systematically.
2. To ensure all school members understand safety and emergency procedures.
3. To identify safety issues in creating a safe and conducive school environment.
Summary:
The School Safety Committee Meeting was conducted to discuss current safety issues and strengthen safety management within the school compound. Discussions focused on fire drill programmes, emergency action plans, student safety during co-curricular activities, monitoring during dismissal time, canteen safety and school gate security. Teachers also shared suggestions and preventive measures to improve the overall safety environment of the school.
Impact:
The meeting successfully increased teachers’ awareness and understanding of their roles in ensuring student safety. It also strengthened cooperation among teachers in implementing safety procedures and monitoring students effectively.
Follow up action:
1. Conduct regular safety monitoring around the school compound.
2. Organise fire drill and emergency response activities.

Topic: Otak Pintar Tanpa Dadah

Participation: All teachers and pupils
Objectives:
• To raise pupils’ awareness about the dangers and negative effects of drug abuse
• To promote positive values and encourage healthy lifestyle choices
• To develop pupils’ self-discipline and strengthen their decision-making abilities
Summary:
The Drug Prevention Education Programme (PPDa) Speaker Corner is carried out monthly as part of the school’s ongoing initiative to educate pupils on the importance of living a drug-free and healthy life. Through informative talks, sharing sessions and awareness messages, pupils are encouraged to maintain positive behaviour and contribute to a safe school environment.
Impact:
• Pupils gain better understanding of the harmful effects of drugs
• Improved awareness of the importance of discipline and healthy living
• Pupils are encouraged to make responsible and positive decisions
Follow-up Action:
• Continue organising monthly awareness and educational sessions
• Encourage greater pupil involvement during Speaker Corner activities

Objectives:
• To encourage consistent student attendance.
• To recognise and appreciate classes with outstanding attendance records.
• To create awareness on the importance of regular school attendance.
Summary:
The “Zero Truancy Programme” and Student Attendance Achievement presentation for March and April 2026 were conducted during the school assembly. Certificates and recognition were given to classes that achieved the highest attendance percentages. The programme aimed to motivate pupils to maintain excellent attendance and strengthen the cooperation between teachers, pupils and parents in ensuring students attend school regularly.
