We were delighted to have our School Liaison Officers, Insp Mohd Safuan Bin Mohd Nasir and Kpl Wan Habib Zaid Apandi bin Wan Habib Su'aidi, visit Lodge National Schools on Tuesday, 21 March 2023. They were impressed by our students' behavior and assured us that safety is their top priority. It was great to meet with them and we look forward to continuing our partnership for the well-being of our students.

Our Lodge National Secondary Deputy Principal also the National Headquaters Commissioner and Assistant Chief Scout Commissioner, Mr Jeffrey Wee has been awarded Pingat Yang Dipertua Majlis Pengakap Sarawak while our 2nd Kuching Group Scout Leader, Mr Then Ik Wei has been awarded Anugerah Sijil Kepujian Ketua Pesuruhjaya Pengakap Negeri Sarawak in an auspicious awarding ceremony organized by Malaysia Scout Movement Sarawak.
The event held at Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka Sarawak saw 42 recipients received the national scout awards and 172 recipients received State Scout Awards. All the recipients were the Commissioners, Scout Leaders and Rover Crews.
The award presentation ceremony was presented by Deputy Chairman of National Scout Council who presented the national scout awards while Tan Sri William Mawan Ikom, the Chairman of Sarawak Scout Council presented the State Scout Awards. Captain Haji Zainuddin bin Tan Sri Hamdan, the Sarawak Scout Chief Commissioner presented the Anugerah Sijil Kepujian Ketua Pengakap Negeri Sarawak.

We're excited to announce that Prof Tatsuhiro Ohkubo and Ms Kaho Aigase from Utsunomiya University visited us today. They met with the senior leadership team to discuss ongoing collaboration projects, including virtual student exchange and teaching internship programmes. We're thrilled to have such a fruitful partnership with Utsunomiya University and look forward to further collaborations in the future!
