We were here to support Vincent Ong at his homecoming concert.
Having followed his journey through the International Chopin Piano Competition over the past year, this moment felt especially meaningful. Watching it all come full circle on stage made it even more special.
Truly a milestone worth celebrating.

Trinity College London Piano Examination December 2025
Another small milestone on the journey of learning music.
Our students recently completed their piano examination with Trinity College London. While results and certificates are meaningful, what truly matters is the growth behind them. The many quiet hours of practice, the courage to perform, and the patience to keep improving step by step.
In our studio, examinations are simply milestones, not the destination. Each one marks a moment of progress in listening, discipline, and musical expression.
Well done, children. Keep playing, keep exploring, and keep growing.

This weekend, two stages, one shared journey. While our Annual Recital filled Kuching with music and growth, our finalists were also stepping onto the stage at Sunway University, KL. Different cities, happening at the same time, yet connected by the same dedication and courage.
To our students, this is a reminder that progress does not happen in just one place or one moment. Keep showing up, keep learning, and keep believing. Wherever you are, the music you carry matters.

It’s a wrap! 13–14 December marked six meaningful recital sessions filled with growth, courage, and music shared from the heart.
This year, our focus was on an acoustic setting and solo performances. Students learned to listen deeply, shape their own sound, manage the stage independently, and communicate music with clarity and confidence. It was a different kind of learning compared to last year, when they experienced a different hall, a different acoustic environment, and the joy of ensemble playing. Each setting offered its own lessons, and together they form a rich and balanced musical journey.
The theme Rainbow Connection reflects what we witnessed across these six sessions. Every student brought their own colour, story, and voice, and each performance became a gentle connection between effort, growth, and belief. When these moments came together, they formed something far more meaningful than sound alone.
A heartfelt thank you to our students for their dedication, to parents for your trust and support, to our teachers for guiding every step with patience and care, and to all helpers and the WonderKeys team who made these recitals possible. Thank you to Jaboh’s family for stepping in so sportingly to join us for the finale when we reached out. Your generosity and willingness truly embodied the spirit of connection we hoped to create. And, well done Ms Catherine - the organizer for this year’s recital! Every recital is not just a performance, but a chapter of learning, and we are grateful to walk this journey together!
