Established in 2016, Petrosar Academy main objective is to educate and provide a chance for SPM school leavers who did not get the opportunities to further their studies at any College or University. We also offer programs for employees and ex-employees of the oil and gas industry who are keen for career enhancement and for those from other industries sourcing for career change. In short, we cater for everyone! We offer training courses designed to enhance and develop current skill sets as well as developing new ones. These courses are designed to mould students into becoming highly skilled workers in the industry. Petrosar Academy is not just about academic achievement, but its main driver will be to learn the fundamentals of the Oil and Gas Industry and the culture in which a successful career could be achieved. Our technical courses offer you practical training under Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia. Currently we offer the following courses:
Mechanical Plant Operation;
Electrical Plant Operation;
Piping Fabrication Operation; and
Safety Course. Led by an Industry Advisory board and based on the collaboration between the industry players and the Sarawak State Government, Petrosar Academy is one of Malaysia’s leading providers of technical solutions, utilising:

Highly experienced trainers from industries. Graduates who successfully completed our course, will potentially have a very high employment placement with major industry players as Petrosar has formed strategic alliances with numerous and established oil and gas companies.
