✨ Benchmarking Visit to UNIMAS ✨

The Bachelor of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (BEE) and Diploma in Electrical Engineering (DEP) teams from i-CATS University College successfully conducted a benchmarking visit to the Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) on 21 January 2026.

Led by Ts. Dr John Tin Yuan En and Mdm. Nurul Farahana binti Mohammad, the visit involved 12 academic staff and 2 laboratory technicians. Our team was warmly welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, UNIMAS, Professor Ir. Dr Abdullah bin Hj Yassin, together with Dr Dyg Norkhairunnisa binti Abang Zaidel as the Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering , Ts. Dr Mohamad Faizrizwan bin Mohd Sabri as the Programme Coordinator, and fellow academic staff.

The visit aimed to gain insights into course implementation, assessment practices, and laboratory facilities for Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The knowledge and ideas shared will greatly support the enhancement of our academic programmes and laboratory infrastructure.

Overall, the visit was highly successful, fostering meaningful discussions, knowledge sharing, and stronger academic collaboration between i-CATS University College and UNIMAS. 🤝⚡
