On 21 May 2026, Lodge Secondary School organised a special Gawai Dayak Assembly, featuring a vibrant array of cultural performances and traditional showcases that reflected the spirit of gratitude, unity, and togetherness in welcoming this meaningful harvest festival.
The event was graced by the Director of Lodge Group of Schools, Mr Su Hiong Ai, and the Principal of Lodge Secondary School, Mr Yunus Apok, alongside all the Deputy Principals, teachers, and students.

LODGE TALENT IDENTIFICATION DEVELOPMENT (TID) SCREENING PROGRAMME 2026
Sport Specific: Athletics

19 May 2026
Lodge National Secondary School Hall

The CCA Department successfully conducted the Lodge Talent Identification Development (TID) Screening Programme 2026 for Athletics, involving 33 students aged 10โ€“14 years old from all Lodge entities.

The programme aimed to identify young talented athletes through five specific test batteries focusing on:
โ€ข Horizontal and vertical power
โ€ข Speed
โ€ข Upper body strength
โ€ข Agility

Through this initiative, selected students will be guided towards core sports and development training centres under Lodge Athletics, while also being given opportunities to further develop their sporting potential and represent the school in future competitions.

This programme was organized by the CCA Department under the leadership of our Organizing Chairperson, Magdellina Walefred, with guidance from our Advisor, Willie Liew.

Special appreciation is also extended to all Sportsmasters (P.E teachers) from all entities for their continuous support and commitment throughout the programme.

On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who contributed directly and indirectly towards the success of the TID Programme 2026. Your dedication and teamwork made this event meaningful and successful! Well done! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป
