Sambutan Hari Malaysia telah diadakan pada 14 September 2026 di Dewan Sek Khas PERKATA.
Berbagai aktiviti dijalankan seperti kibaran jalur gemilang, pertandingan menghias kelas, pertandingan pakaian bertemakan Malaysia, pertandingan kuiz dan sebagainya.

PEMAKLUMAN PENGURUSAN JEREBU DI SEKOLAH

Keselamatan dan kesihatan murid sentiasa menjadi keutamaan.

Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (KPM) menetapkan langkah pengurusan sekolah semasa kejadian jerebu berdasarkan bacaan Indeks Pencemaran Udara (IPU) semasa.

IPU melebihi 100 – TIDAK SIHAT
• Semua aktiviti luar bilik darjah yang melibatkan murid hendaklah dihentikan.
• Aktiviti sukan, Pendidikan Jasmani, perhimpunan dan program luar hendaklah ditangguhkan.
• Murid dinasihatkan memakai pelitup muka yang sesuai dan minum air dengan kerap.

IPU melebihi 200 – SANGAT TIDAK SIHAT
• Sekolah hendaklah ditutup serta-merta.
• Pihak sekolah hendaklah memaklumkan tindakan penutupan kepada PPD dan JPN.
• Pengajaran dan pembelajaran dilaksanakan mengikut arahan serta ketetapan yang berkuat kuasa.

IPU melebihi 500 – BAHAYA
• Sekolah ditutup sepenuhnya.
• Guru dan kakitangan sekolah tidak perlu hadir ke sekolah.

Tanggungjawab pihak sekolah.
Pihak pentadbir sekolah hendaklah sentiasa memantau bacaan IPU melalui Sistem Pengurusan Indeks Pencemaran Udara Malaysia (APIMS) dan mengambil tindakan sewajarnya berdasarkan bacaan serta arahan semasa.

Peranan ibu bapa/penjaga.
Ibu bapa atau penjaga yang bimbang terhadap kesihatan anak-anak boleh tidak menghantar anak ke sekolah dan hendaklah memaklumkan perkara tersebut kepada pihak sekolah.

Ayuh bersama-sama memastikan keselamatan, kesihatan dan kebajikan anak-anak kita sentiasa terpelihara.

Sentiasa peka. Sentiasa bersedia. Keselamatan diutamakan.

16 June 2026, Tuesday- About 55 staff from Sarawak Energy Bhd organised a CSR Program.
Activities include aerobic exercise, games and performance by the students.
Later, Mr. Eric of SEB presented donation in term of electrical items. These items will be used to teach the students how to use, handle and operate the electrical appliances during the Self-help Skills lesson.
Students and staff of PSS and also staff of SEB were treated with lunch after and goodies bag were given to all students.

9 June 2026-The Yayasan Sarawak International Secondary School (YSISS) visit and organised a CSR Program at Perkata Special School. About 37 students and 4 teachers from YSISS were involved in this program. The objective was to create awareness and giving the chance to the YSISS students to socialize and interact with our students.
A few activities were lined up for them, eg. touring around the school, aerobic, games and colouring activities among the students.
The YSISS also donated few items for the school's use.
Thank you YSISS students and teachers for spending your time with the students and for selecting our school as your CSR Program.

19 May 2026 - One of our annually program, Teacher's Day Celebration. Lineup activities including oath taking, singing, cake cutting, dance performance by the students and presenting gifts to the staff. With the theme "Sports", all the staff were given the opportunity to play a few games.
Then the staff and students were treated with light refreshments brought by the students.

16 May 2026, PERKATA Educational Trip & Family Day was held at the Borneo Empurau Farm & Resort.

About 150 staff, students and family members of Perkata Special School join in this program.
A BIG Thank You to Rotary Club of Kuching, Unite for Good, Autumn Travel and L and F Travel Enterprise for sponsoring this program.
