2 May 2026 - A big thank you to Big Grain Group for their donation in conjunction with their Blood Donation and Charity Event.
They also invited Perkata Special School to open up a booth to sale our products to members of public on that day.

25 April 2026, The YUNCO Enterprise Sdn Bhd along with the Perkata Special School PTA organised a CSR Paint Program at the school premises.
The YUNCO Enterprise Sdn Bhd donated various paints according to the classroom colours.
About 57 took part in this program which include the YUNCO's staff, school staff and parents.

22 April 2026 - We had the pleasure welcoming one of our most generous donor, The BUDIMAS Charitable Organisation. They have supported the school since 2016 in funding for the operation of the school along with their yearly stationary supplies.
Mr. Jagantheswaran Ganesan the Assistant Manager Operation and Puan Siti Rafeah the Executive Operation visited the school accompanied by Mdm. Wendy Mandau the School's Principal.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the BUDIMAS for their generous contributions towards Perkata Special School .

9 April 2026, Hari Raya Gathering was organised by Principal Assest Management Berhad. They celebrated 20 students and school staff for lunch at the school premises.
The activities included dance performance by the Perkata Special School Dancing Club and games activities. Later the CEO of Principal Islamic presented duit raya to the students.

11 April 2026 - PERKATA Big Stage Talent was held today at Plaza Merdeka, Kuching.

The objectives of this program are to showcase the hidden talent and to build-up their self-confidence performing in front of audiences.

With about 15 participants of various Special Needs took part in singing, dancing and playing keyboard competition.

The competition is divided into 4 categories and was judged by Pn. Noor Safina from Plaza Merdeka Management, Mr. Lerrie Zane from RTM, Mdm. Chelsia Yu Shung Sunk from Casa Capriccio Musica and Ms. Sim Kah Ying from Sky Dance Academy.

The programme was officiated by Pn. Khoiriyah Binti Cholil Purnomo, Ketua Cawangan Perkhidmatan OKU, Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat Sarawak.

Our utmost gratitude to Plaza Merdeka Shopping Mall for hosting the venue and SCR Plaza Merdeka for their sponsorship of meals and not forgetting individuals that have donated for prizes and goodies for the participants.

On the 28th February 2026, a Chinese New Year celebration with YB Kelvin Yii Lee Wuen, Ahli Parlimen P.195 Bandar Kuching.
Activities include dance performance by the school's Dancing Club, yee sang and handing in angpao to all students.
PERKATA Committee Members & the student's parents were also present.

Lion Dance presentation at Perkata Special School on the 26 Feb 2026 in conjunction with the Chinese New Year.
The performance was sponsored by Mr. Koh Gee Fui. The students and staff had a fun time watching the performance by the dancers.
