🧺🎨 From sketch to masterpiece!

Our watercolor class focused on a fruit basket still life, where students explored composition, proportions, watercolor layering, and pen detailing.

Starting with a light sketch, they gradually built up soft washes, vibrant colours, and fine linework to bring the basket and fruit to life. Every brushstroke helped strengthen their observation skills and confidence.

Every finished artwork is a reflection of patience, practice, and creativity. 🌿🍏🍌

✨ A look back at last week's class! 💜🎨

Last week, our young artists brought Kuromi to life with vibrant oil pastels while exploring colour blending, shapes, and composition.

Although everyone worked on the same theme, each artwork turned out uniquely different. Every piece reflects the student's own creativity, imagination, and personal style.

It's always wonderful to see their confidence grow with every completed artwork. ❤️

🍊✨ Every still life tells a different story.

Using the same reference, each young artist explored their own colours, patterns, and creativity. From bold backgrounds to unique details, every artwork reflects their imagination and growing confidence.

Watching their ideas come to life is always the most rewarding part of every class❤️

Fast food... but make it ART🍔🍟🥤🎨

Our young artists transformed everyday favourites into bold, colourful oil pastel masterpieces!

From burgers and fries to soft drinks, each artwork is filled with vibrant colours, confident outlines, and lots of creativity. It's amazing to see how the same reference can turn into so many unique pieces.

Art isn't about making everything look the same—it's about expressing your own ideas while learning new techniques. So proud of every student❤️✨

From simple lines to realistic shading✏️🖤

Last week, our students explored the beauty of graphite drawing through observation, light, shadow, and texture.
From the delicate details of a betta fish to the dramatic contrast of a table lamp, every piece reflects patience, focus, and steady progress. We're so proud of what they achieved🤍

Keep drawing, keep improving. Every sketch is one step closer to mastery. ✨

Peace looks better with a Capybara🧸🪷✨

From the very first sketch to the final splash of color, our little artists brought these adorable Capybara masterpieces to life using oil pastels. Every artwork is unique, full of personality, and created with confidence💛🎨

At Little Picasso KCH, we don't just teach drawing—we inspire creativity, patience, and self-expression, one masterpiece at a time🌈

Sometimes, the most beautiful artworks don't need colours. 🌙🐈

Last week's sketching lesson focused on light, shadow, and tonal values through a peaceful moonlit cat scene.

With only a pencil, the student learned how to create depth, contrast, and atmosphere by carefully building different shades instead of relying on colour.

Every stroke helped strengthen observation, patience, and pencil control—essential foundations for every young artist.

One pencil. One scene. Endless learning. ✏️✨

🤍 Great art begins with strong fundamentals.

Last week's lesson focused on combining figure drawing with still life observation. Instead of drawing objects separately, the student learned how to place a character naturally into the same composition.

From sketching proportions and planning the layout to layering colours and adding details, every step helped strengthen observation, composition, and colour control.

The most rewarding part isn't finishing the painting— it's seeing an idea slowly come to life, one brushstroke at a time. 🎨💕

Sometimes, the simplest exercise teaches the biggest lesson. ✏️

This week's sketching challenge focused on expressions, lines, and creativity. Instead of copying one complete drawing, students mixed different hairstyles, eyes, mouths, and patterns to create their own unique little characters.

There wasn't a "correct" answer.
Some characters looked funny, some looked shy, some looked surprised—and that's exactly what made each page special.

Drawing is not just about technique. It's about learning to observe, imagine, and express ideas with confidence, one pencil stroke at a time. 🤍

🎨 Every face tells a different story.
