Turning a simple everyday subject into a study of light, shadow and form🥚✨

In this pencil sketch, our student practised observing the different shapes of the eggs, building shadows gradually, and creating contrast between the bowl, eggs and background.

Simple subject, but a great exercise for learning shading, proportion and three-dimensional form 🖤✏️

Through this piece, our student explored the idea of peace, friendship and unity around the world, while working with bright colours, detailed outlines and a large composition🎨

In this lesson, our student explored watercolour blending, layering, brush control, and warm colour combinations while creating a beautiful countryside paddy field scene.

From the golden paddy fields and distant mountains to the traditional houses and palm trees, every detail adds warmth and character to the painting🌾🏡🌴

In this lesson, she worked on facial proportions, line control, details, and pencil shading. From the flowers and butterflies to the hair and facial features, every little detail takes patience and careful observation 🤍

A beautiful underwater scene created with watercolour 🎨💙

In this lesson, our student explored colour layering, brush control and texture while bringing this sea turtle to life. From the patterns on its shell to the tiny details on its flippers, every part was built up patiently, one brushstroke at a time✨

I especially love the soft underwater colours and how the turtle becomes the focus of the whole painting🐢🌿

Learning to observe more, paint with more confidence, and enjoy the process along the way🤍

Our students brought this adorable little superhero to life with bold colours, glowing eyes and their own colourful city backgrounds❤️💙

Although everyone started with the same theme, each student made different choices with the colours, buildings, clouds and night sky — giving every artwork its own personality🎨✨

From a simple circle to a drawing with form, depth and shadow🖤

In this pencil sketching lesson, our young student explored how different pencil pressure creates different tones, and how highlights and shadows can turn a flat shape into something that looks three-dimensional.

Still only Primary 2, but already learning to observe details instead of simply copying what they see 👀✏️

One pencil, many shades — and a lot of patience behind this piece🤍

Same theme, but each artwork turned out a little different — from the colours and expressions to the tiny details they added themselves. That’s always my favourite part of art class🎨💕
