Welcome, all delegates to International Creative Innovation Design Competition 2022 (ICIDE 2022). Organized by Mindware PLT in collaboration with Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, INTI International University, Sparks Education Plt and Promac Enterprises Sdn. Bhd. ICIDE 2022 aims to provide a platform for connecting academic scholars and industry practitioners worldwide to share the innovation findings from various disciplines and create a space for intellectual discussion, exploration, and reflection of critical issues that are shaping the world today. As a result, there will be enormous opportunities for networking, discussions, and collaborations among the participants. In addition, the exhibition will feature a unique keynote address focusing on recent advancements and challenges in selected research disciplines.

We cordially invite prospective participants to submit original and unpublished works for innovation and video presentation at the competition. All accepted abstracts will be published in the ICIDE 2022 e-proceeding book.

ICIDE 2022 is an international platform for local and international inventors and research students to present their inventions and innovations to a business community keen on commercializing unique inventions.
ICIDE 2022 recognizes unique inventions through the Innovation Competition and accordingly confers local and international awards. The innovation competition will be held online on 20 August 2022. ICIDE encourages and brings together all young researchers, students, and inventors worldwide to show off their inventions.
The organizers have put together a series of activities under ICIDE 2022:

2. Exhibition and competition

The topics involve various disciplines related (but not limited) to the themes and sub-themes as follows:

2. Business Management: Performance Levels Management, Organizational Growth, Turnover and Profits, Market Share, Leadership; Employee Turnover, Employee Development and Training, Business Sustainability, Customer Service, Business Innovation, Business Technology, Customer Relationship, Products, and Services, Stakeholders, Vision, Mission, and Objectives

3. Social Science and Humanities: Tourism Management, Sports Science, Communication and Media Studies, Administrative Science and Policy Studies, Anthropology, Arts, History, Cultural History, Humanities, Language, Literature, Local Government, Music, Philosophy, Politics, Psychology, Religious Studies, Social Sciences and Sociology

Innovators from other disciplines are also encouraged to submit and present their manuscripts.

Sri Aman, 18 March – The Covid-19 pandemic posed no hurdle to SPARKS Education Plt which successfully organised the corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme in Sarawak to support continuous learning.

PROMAC Enterprises Sdn. Bhd and SPARKS Education Plt have donated books and teaching aid to 10 schools under ADUN Simangang as their CSR project to Primary Schools in Sarawak. The 10 schools involved are SK Bt Lintang, Undop, SK Paku, Undop, SJK (C) Chung Hua, Batu Lintang, Undop, SK Ng Klassen, SK St Lawrence Sabu, SK Sri Aman, SJK (C) Chung Hua, Simanggang, SK St Luke, SK Abang Aing and SK Nanga Skrang. This event with the theme "support fundamental learning" aims to instil the importance of learning among young children and their families.

This Project CSR was hosted by SK Batu Lintang Undop. The event was attended and officiated by YB Datuk Francis Harden Anak Hollis, Deputy Minister for Talent Development, Ministry of Education, Innovation, and Talent Development Sarawak. Present were SPARKS EDUCATION CEO, Dr. Angie Anak Garet, PROMAC Enterprises Sdn. Bhd. representative Dr. Mohamad Idham Haji Md Razak, Headmaster of SK Batu Lintang Undop, headmasters and school representatives from the selected 10 schools, PTA of SK Batu Lintang, officers from Simanggang District Education Department, and village heads.

YB Datuk Francis Harden Hollis handed over the books and teaching aids to the school’s headmaster or the schools’ representatives. It was very pleasing to see the satisfied faces, delighted at the receipt of such valuable items.

“PROMAC Enterprises Sdn. Bhd. is steadfast in empowering the community through initiatives focused on education and community development. We thank the Ministry of Education, Innovation, and Talent Development Sarawak and the State Government for the collaboration and we will continue to support the betterment of the children’s education and its community,” said PROMAC Enterprises Sdn. Bhd.

The main objectives of the programme include providing opportunities to underprivileged children in rural schools to enhance knowledge and derive the simple pleasure of exploring the world through books and teaching aids with a special emphasis on stimulating a love of reading and learning in children; promoting international and inter-cultural understanding and awareness; improve and expand knowledge of Mathematics and Sciences thus creating opportunities for higher education and employment. In addition, doing this project is also to support and facilitate the teaching and learning activities of the school, by providing access to appropriate information resources.

This CSR programme is one of SPARKS Education’s efforts and is aimed at giving back to the community in the state. Hopefully, CSR like this will continue among other schools in the future.
