We host monthly jam sessions at Yuzu Music because music should be shared, felt, and enjoyed by everyone. It’s a universal language, after all. 💛

Playing in a classroom is one thing. But playing with people? That’s a whole different experience. You learn to listen, react, catch the groove, and most importantly, to connect.

Yuzu Jam is where our students get to practice that, live. Don’t worry if you’re not sure how, our teachers are right there on stage with you. 💪

小时候，爸妈为了培养我们的音乐兴趣，把我和二姐送去学钢琴。 我的钢琴老师非~常严格，每次我弹错，她都会用手里的笔直接打我的手指，每次的钢琴课对我来说简直是一种酷刑。有一段时间，她甚至做了学生排行榜贴在墙上。我的名字每周都排在最底，旁边还写着红色大大个的F。 在这样的环境下，我姐一路过关斩将，考到了Grade 5。而我，经过一次又一次的打击，什么都没考，因为......根本没有资格! 正是这样的老师让我对钢琴非常抗拒！ 随着我长大，我发现自己其实挺喜欢鼓的声音，它能很好地带动情绪。尤其是去年去看Imagine Dragons的演唱会时，我体验到了鼓手独奏带动全场气氛的震撼，真是太酷了！于是，我决定报名学打鼓！ 我才上了第四堂课，还是个新手。老师建议我把刚学的Groove录下来以后回看，这样可以看到自己的进步。如果我觉得不好，可以删了，叫我放心。老师的这番话让我原本紧张的心情放松了许多，也让我有了新的 #突破 回看video,.我发现反而在犯错的时候，我会笑出来。我发现......#犯错其实没什么大不了的，犯错可以不必像以前那样被惩罚，it can be a fun moment! 😊一个好老师，确实是学生成长的催化剂。 谢谢老师！ 愿每个人的生命中都能遇到这样一位好老师!
